Six of my union members and I went to Pizza Palermo for lunch while we are doing our polical canvassing around Allegheny County.... We were met by Mike, the owner. He was warm and welcoming. He looked familiar to me and he told us that he had been at the pennhills location previously- that?s where I recognized him from. He was so friendly and engaging. He served us each personally.The food was absolutely delicious! I had an antipasto and small pepperoni and sausage pizza. The portions are quite large so Ibrought a good bit home and my husband and I are about to enjoy my leftovers. I recommend everyone to go - the service was facttoo and there were seven of us . I?ve been here a couple times since moving into the area and each time has been remarkably disappointing. The first time I came... in i ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and they tried handing me a piece of soggy, clearly old pizza that they had just tossedpepperoni on top of and thrown into the oven. I asked for a fresh slice and, after some very rude words from the man working atthe register, got some pizza that actually was edible. My second time coming in was earlier today. I ordered wings with dryranch dressing dusting and when I got home and opened up my food, I was disappointed to see that the wings had gotten a bitsoggy, but I knew that was probably just from the condensation building up during the time it took me to get home with them.Imagine my surprise when I realized that I was given overcooked, plain, bland wings along with celery that was clearly goingbad. First time ordering from this place & the LAST! I ordered a large pepperoni & sausage pizza for delivery. Pizza came it was not... hot AT ALL! The slices were huge because it was cut in 8 slices instead of 12! The sausage was not cooked on the pizza it wasjust sprinkled on top. Honestly I think they gave me a pepperoni pizza that was already made & just threw sausage on top!Ridiculous! & it wasn't good. I ate 2 slices & threw the rest in the trash! Went here late at night to get a small pepperoni pizza and it was wonderful. Not overly greasy or cheesy?an even spreading of... condiments. Crust is great too (not too thick or too thin), and I love that they throw in a free ranch. Very nice people! (: Read more
I just picked up an order from this place. There was a small mishap with my order but they were super accommodating. There was a... gentleman working the register at about 2pm on 11/28 at the Shadyside location. While I was waiting for my order, I got to seehim interact with multiple customers and he is obviously very good with people and customer care. The place looked clean and inorder. There was a good amount of seating for dining in. And most important, my food was good! This was my first time here butI?ll definitely be back. So glad I found a good local pizza place. Read more
