Maybe I had bad luck but the staff seemed a little queerphobic both times I went there. I?d give it 5/5 if I felt welcome but I... just don?t. Read more

People are very nice. Cheesesteak had barely any meat, and same with ham sandwich. Very disappointing. And they forgot the... fries, which took twice asking and still didn't get them Read more

The best bang for your buck sandwiches in Pittsburgh! The fact that this spot is across the street from a subway is a crime.... I?ve had 5 or 6 different hoagies from Peppi?s now and they?re all brilliant. This has become my go-to spot if I want asandwich. Really can?t recommend it enough! Read more

Ordered 3 different cheesesteaks, everybody loved them. Better than anything I can get back home! There is no eating at the... restaurant due to COVID and the restrooms are out of order. Everything was very straightforward: come in, order food, get out.Last order goes in at 7:30 PM. Normally I would knock off a point for the interior but the food was so good it doesn't matter. Bread is great. Italian sub kinda slim on the ingredients. Hamburger okay, not a lot of flavor. Sack of fries enough for two,... grease could be changed in the fryer. Read more

The greasiest, dingiest, most cramped little sandwich shop that you will be absolutely ecstatic to be in. Absolutely phenomenal... and uniquely Pittsburgh sandwiches. Not for the faint of heart or anyone on a diet, but filling and satisfying in a way fewother establishments can match. Highly recommend trying at least once. Read more

Love this Old Tyme gem. Got the Big Nate, haven't had in at least a decade - still made to perfection. Tasted better than I... remember. Read more
