Let me start with the hair in my food. But to be honest it really wasn't great anyway. I got shrimp chow fun. It was supposed to... have vegetables. I do not consider bean sprouts a vegetable. Not to mention the egg roll was terrible. My husband got Sichuanbeef. He said it had a ton of zucchini. But was not impressed. They will not see us again. Read more
Do you want some Chinese-American classics? Need a low-key place to have lunch or dinner? Do not sleep on Pan Asia! I feel like... the North Hills has really been missing a great place to get all of the Chinese takeout standards, and this restaurant hasfilled that gap for us. We have had takeout and dine in, both experiences great! The quality of ingredients really shows. The MuShi pork was fantastic, all of the vegetables are fresh and cut beautifully. You cannot go wrong with any of the variouschickens (sesame, orange, amazing, general tso). We also have tried the Thai dishes: the pad Thai is delicious and we also lovedthe Sweet and Spicy Thai shrimp! We will totally be back and hope to see more folks giving Pan Asia some love!! This restaurant serves typical Chinese foods. The interior is spacious and nicely decorated. The employees were polite and... timely with their service. Our server accidentally brought out teriyaki beef rather than teriyaki chicken. We enjoyed the tasteof our crab rangoons, orange chicken, and kung pao chicken. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Rick and Joyce - the owners of Pan Asia Eatery. This is my first time back since they... purchased and renovated the former Khoo?s Garden. The restaurant is aesthetically appealing and the food was delicious! This isa hard working couple and their customer service is superb. I highly recommend this restaurant! Very, very good Chinese food! I've been wanting to try out more local Chinese spots, so this seemed to be a great stop. I... ordered the sesame chicken (similar to general Tso) and a chicken egg roll. They were both quite tasty! They give you a hugeportion for the main dish. And, the side rice that accompanied the chicken was equally large! The quality of the chicken seemedto be quite good. Not too chewy or fatty. It seemed to be white meat but could have just been a high quality dark meat as well.It maintained its crispness even after sitting in the car. Their sauce is delicious and definitely on the sweet side. A littlebit of sesame and some broccoli to top it off. I would have preferred a little more broccoli, but that was essentially more onlyquarrel with this dish. The egg roll is pretty good, but not the best I've had. Was still a little crispy but nearly allcabbage, and I could barely taste the chicken. Portion was a bit smaller than at comparable places. They do give you quite a fewdifferent sauces on the side for free (duck, soy, mustard). I enjoyed the soy sauce combination the most since it gave an extrasalty pop to the cabbage (somewhat like sauerkraut). Also, can't forget the complementary fortune cookie! All in all, this wasvery tasty food. The portion sizes are great for the price, and the quality of the meat seems to be quite high. Their sesamesauce is sweet and delicious, but I would have liked more broccoli. Egg roll is okay. Would recommend! Read more
