Some of the best breakfast I have had in the ENTIRE Pittsburgh. Everything was so flavorful and amazing. The biscuits were... crispy and delicious and that lemon curd is phenomenal. All in a very chill comfortable atmosphere with some fantastic service.I will certainly be back. Read more
O hi! Oak Hill Post is a really nice place for a quick bite and excellent food. Walk right in and get a seat or order some food... to go. Definitely enjoyed dinning in at Oak Hill Post, the food is fresh and hot. I also would recommend to go. Last order wasfor 5 people and they had it ready to go in under 20 minutes. Small and cozy spot in Brookline. Nicely decorated, very clean and super friendly helpful staff. This is not fast food, so plan... to relax and enjoy a few moments to talk or just relax with a cup of coffee. There's likely a line, I'd recommend waiting in it!Everything I had was unique, full of flavor and texture. I sat and was impressed how everything from the drinks made in front ofme to the food I could see being finished in the kitchen was done deliberately and with care. Looking forward to stopping in forlunch soon. A delicious spot well worth seeking out! Read more
This restaurant oozes excellence from every pore. From the menu, to the service, to the food, they understood the assignment. A... rich and hearty French press from Columbia and Brazil was followed with a 12 oz (!) wonderfully prepared steak with JUST theright amount of salt (the fries were similarly nailed - I had given up on perfection but here it is right down the street!) andthe prices too, perfect, so much for shrinkflation! A revelation. A delight. We will be back and soon. Read more
Really cute breakfast/brunch place on Brookline right on the Blvd. Food was good ! The wait time for the food took a little... while but that's expected at these smaller places. The employees were hustling to get peoples food to the tables and the tablescleaned for new guests. Very friendly. Good coffee as well ! There are also a few vegetarian options !! Read more
I love this place. Their hours are limited but they are worth planning for. Their food was delicious and they have a super cool... home-town vibe. I also loved the strawberry lavender Lemonade! I got the burrito with bacon but it didn't need it. I would orderit as usual next time. Read more
This is the third time we've gotten food from Oak Hill Post. We've eaten in when dinner was served and have received brunch... takeout twice since then. Needless to say, we keep going back for a reason. The staff is incredibly welcoming, helpful, andpatient with their more indecisive customers (Me). Although, I would take note that this restaurant is fast paced, so havingyour order together certainly helps cut down on other's time in line. The real joy here, and the reason the lines wrap down thesidewalk, is the attention to detail. The menu is classic/nostalgic food, but the ingredients are handled delicately and theflavors are matched purposefully. The sauces are amazing and show a depth beyond your classic spreads, while the pickled foods(made in house) add just the correct amount of brightness. You may think you're ordering a sandwich but what you're reallygetting is an experience. Here's a list of our takeout spread ranked by greatness: -Mega Melt -French Toast w/ Lemon Curd,Infused Syrup, and Ricotta -Monty -Tomato Bisque -Breakfast Sandwich (+ Sausage) -Biscuit -Breakfast Burrito Read more
What an experience brunch was today. Oak Hill Post was a splash of southern hospitality that made me feel as stuffed as a... thanksgiving turkey. Biscuits and gravy were by far the best in the city and accompanies anything you could want. Thank you tothe chef for the french toast. The lemon curd and jam were a great sweet tart to top the meal off. Was great getting to try thisplace but it seem like I may be the last to know lol. Better late than never!! Read more
