We loved the Kouign-amann it was fresh and crispy and so buttery. And the other stuff were great as well. Best french products I... have tried in Pittsburgh so far. But the place was too small, they allow only one customer or one group at a time, masks arerequired and I didn't have one but a nice gentlemen ahead of me in the line walked back home a block away to get me a mask fromhis home. The place should provide free masks for customers who don't have one at no charge especially for new customers whocome from far away like me. Read more

The croissants, pull apart bread and croissant muffins are amazing. This is a great place to grab a pastry and a cup of coffee... and enjoy the park nearby. Make sure you go early because they sell out fast. Read more

The food is 5 stars all the way. Best croissants IN MY LIFE! Buuuut you never know when they're going to sell out of the item... you want. I went at 11:30am and all the chocolate croissants were gone. I've gone before around noontime and no more hamsandwiches (which only become available at 11:00). I love the place, but wish the supply were more consistent. The people whowork there are also nice. This place still requires a mask worn inside, only allows 1 person/group inside at a time, and has noindoor dining but there are a few bistro tables set up outside. Get the croissants if you can: plain, chocolate, pastry of theday, whatever - the buttery flakiness makes getting there early worth it. Read more

Visited the store around 3:00pm Thur and everything I wanted (danish , sandwich ..) was gone, so got some croissant , basque... cake, bouchon, baguette . A young girl/lady was very nice and patient . Musk required and one custom at a time. Small tablesoutside. Nothing to complain. All taste good. Came back around 11:30 on a Wed and got two sandwiches turkey $8 and seasonal $7.5and two danishes $8.5 . Finished the turkey sandwich at outdoor table, taste yummy , but if you have big appetite may not enough. WiFi sometimes work sometimes not which bothered me. The near by coffee shop would be better for u if u plan to stay longer. Read more

Great service staff! They recommended calling in advance if you have an order that involves specific baked goods Very kind... folks! Service is one person at a time while everyone waits in a line outside and you?re required to wear a mask! I got thechocolate croissants and scones and a cake that?s like a lava cake and that was great! Read more

Best bakery in the Burgh! I didn't expect them to have coffee or outside seating, many bakeries do not. Madeleine's had both.... Plus delicious pastries made with care. Read more

A vibrant little French bakery with absolutely scrumptious pastry in generous portion sizes. The courtyard is perfect for... enjoying your treats! Note their hours and that only one person is permitted in at a time (so be prepared to wait in lineoutside). I wish they had tea lattes but otherwise this is a total gem! Read more
