Reviews for Lola Bistro in Pittsburgh, PA
Oh wow! We just had the best meal! Coho salmon with risotto, beef stroganoff, cheese galette and Russian style pierogis... And... the chocolate tarte for dessert was so much more than you can imagine. Top it off with personalized service from Yolanda, theowner and chef. This is the type of place that you'll go back again and again. Just perfect! Read more

A nice little restaurant tucked into an unobtrusive corner of the North Side. This place features a constantly changing menu of... internationally inspired dishes with seasonal ingredients. For instance, i had a house made stuffed pasta from the Abruzziregion where the dough had ramps in it, since they are available now. Others in our party had leg of lamb, or Moroccan Cioppino, or a chicken pot pie. So, while the menu is short, it is quite varied. If you have a party of four or more, make reservationsas the place is small. It can hold maybe twenty people. They make everything themselves so things may take a little moretime. There is no liquor license. It's BYOB. A $5 corkage fee per bottle for wine is very reasonable. Read more

Perfect place for a small group or couple dining. Impecible service, quality, and cooked cuisine. We went to Lola for New Year's... Eve with a group of 10 and albeit a small space, everything was beyond wonderful. Secret hidden gem in the North side and thecomplimentary prosecco was a lovely touch! Read more
Nice, low key atmosphere. Service was very good, but presentation and overall taste just weren't up to expectations. I wanted to... like it more. The lamb was well seasoned, while the risotto it sat on was very bland. The pasta was overly salty. The dumplingsand duck confit salad were tasty. Read more
We just had the most incredible Valentine's Day dinner at Lola Bistro. The galette starter was delicious. The beef stroganoff... was comfort food at it's finest. I equally loved the chocolate tarte as dessert. All at a most reasonable price. This hidden gemin our back yard is a treat not to be missed. Read more
