This place is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! and I never Leave reviews, but let me tell u after reading these , (COVID HAPPENED... BRO!!!!!!!! If the pies only went up ONE DOLLAR.. seriously, one dollar!!!? You should be praising these SMALL BUSINESSowners!!!! & the frequent bread card not working on scones and whatever else they said ? ITS A FREQUENT - B R E A D - CARD , nota frequent scone card. Seriously, you can?t please some ppl, go get a puppy or something .. anyways , I randomly stopped in andit was the best idea I?ve had yet! Any time im in the area, I will GO OUT OF MY WAY to stop in, as well as make trips to thearea JUST FOR THIS BAKERY.. Wow, great job guys. Im sorry honestly but those comments were seriously like mind blowing???????????? (side note- I recommend the blueberry muffins 10/10 !!! Loafers is amazing - delicious sandwiches, fresh homemade breads, and absolutely fantastic desserts (my favorites are the... raspberry pies, tiramisu scones, cinnamon rolls and everything else!). The staff is very friendly. And everything has the tasteof quality homemade baking. Read more
The pies and cookies are good. But I just came from there and 2 pies cost $32. Are you kidding me??? I would not have gotten... them if it weren?t for the party we?re having tomorrow. They were way cheaper before. I suggest going elsewhere like OakmontBakery. This place is wayyyy over priced for a pie this size. The girl at the counter isn?t the friendliest person. Read more

I started eating their bread when they first opened in 1996. We have since moved and anytime we go to Pgh or someone visits, we... stock up since we moved to VA in 2008. Wonderful bread and great recipes. Read more
This place is incredible. In a time when grocery store bread is loaded with chemicals, this is the store everyone should buy... their bread. They even mill their own flour! If you care about the quality of food you eat, buy your bread here. If you don'tcare, go here anyway because it's delicious. And who doesn't want to help a local business owner succeed? If you've never experienced really good bread, this place will change the meaning of bread for you. Better than panera. They... offer samples of a few different kinds, which varies each day. I do somewhat agree with another reviewer though, their cinnamonswirl is disappointing. Sandwiches are excellent, as is the pumpkin bread when they have it. Read more
Their bread is unreal - made from scratch and SO fresh. Their cinnamon swirl bread is to die for. I get it as often as I can.... I've never had anything else from this bakery, but the bread is top!!! Read more
