A fun way to enjoy a casual, dinner out. I had the smoked chicken salad sandwich. It was filling and tasty. The venue is a... fixed in place, "food truck", picnic table, setting so check the weather first. The live music that night was a talented, solo,acoustic guitar, act. He added the right atmosphere for the evening. Expect to spent 20 to 40 pp without drinks. A great wayto spend the night out with a group of friends. I'll be back soon. Read more
Probably the most fantastic barbecue experience that I've ever had especially with the pulled port sandwich. That sandwich I kid... you're not must have been about 5" high with meat about 4" high. I also tried the devil legs which were amazing, the peanuts onthem kind of mess with the texture a little. Next time I will ask for no nuts. But the pork fat that's on them And the sauceare out of this world! They have a new chef here and it really shows. I would urge everybody to try 1700 Penn Avenue at leastonce. The libations place runs into the restaurant and really it's an amazing place to visit and set and get music. The servingstaff is spot on and So is the food! The atmosphere and food was decent. One of the bartenders was extremely rude. I told him with the speaker beside bar we clearly... didn?t hear each other well when placing a drink order and asked for a correction that I was willing to pay for; he called merude and instead of leaving it at that he lingered and started an argument with one of my friends. Shortly after he was ignoringcustomers so he could flirt with one of the patrons. I won?t return. If you go, don?t sit at the bar for risk of being accostedwithout provocation. Read more
Came here for drinks and late night dining. Nice live music. Fairly spread out and room for all, but with the table arrangement,... the next group kept making it hard to even hear each other. So so first experience but would come again. Read more
Great place for a Happy Hour with coworkers. Helltown has some phenomenal beers (Interdimensional Pterodactyl was a particular... favourite) and the pizza was great. There was a nice ambiance, live music, and the waitstaff was all very nice. Read more
I went to 1700 yesterday for the first time last night and I had an absolutely amazing experience! I will definetly be coming... back in the future. The outdoor setting was a great vibe as the picnic tables provide a covid safe atmosphere, and it reallysets the scene for summet. I especially enjoyed their Orange Crush canned drink, and recived wonderful recommondations from Alexand Patrick who went out of their way to make sure I was having a good experience from reccommonadations on the menu to justgreat conversation. They were truly gems, and I can't wait to visit the establishment again. Read more
The pizza here is amazing! Was not a big fan of the stromboli but I rated a five because of the costumer service. Alex, who... seated us was so kind and patient. He did everything he could to accommodate our party and you could tell that he is just agenuine person. Read more
