This place is fun in the summer when you can sit outside. Since the pandemic, opening times have been kind of weird and... inconsistent so you may end up in front of shut doors. There's a lot of turnover among the staff and so their performance ispretty volatile too. If you have the patience to stick around, they got really good draft beers and the food is decent too,especially their pulled pork sandwich. Read more

Visited on a very late Friday afternoon and the place was nearly empty, though we were told that was fairly typical for that... time. Whatever the case, I thoroughly enjoyed a flight of craft offerings, of both Helltown and a few 'guest taps.' They've gotmusic playing both inside and out, with plenty of outdoor seating available. Stooped in for a beer and beverage. Food looked solid but we didn't partake. Was early Sunday afternoon so wasn't super busy. ... Joint is big, likely hopping and fun at the right time of day. Their Pilsner was solid. German style, mostly true to form,would drink again. The bartender, who is DiCaprio's doppelganger, makes one hell of an old fashioned. The food and beer tasting were good. The tasting also included mead and cider - if you selected. The staff and bartender didn't... seem interested in serving anyone. I had to pass by several tables because they were dirty and had not been clears (one wasstill not cleared when I left). I sat to 10 minutes for anyone to greet or wait on me. Ribs were tough, not falling off the bone tender. The strawberry salad was not nearly as good as the strawberry salad at Mod's... pizza, Mac and cheese was just ok. The waiter was super nice. The food just didn't live up to the menu description. My husbanddidn't enjoy his skewered shrimp either. It was so expensive for such disappointing food. Nice atmosphere. Drinks were good. Read more

This was an awesome stop during our Pittsburgh weekend trip. A large outdoor area is available, but we stayed inside and relaxed... between the bar and wine tasting zone. BBQ is available, and the beers were great, with friendly staff and quick service. Woulddefinitely return next time I'm in the area. Read more

If you are in strip this is a descent place to sit down, have some beer and cocktails. Their cocktails are better. They serve... all local so that's a plus. Ambience is great specially with live music. Didn't try their food. I would definitely like to goback. Read more
