This was by far one of the worst customer experiences I?ve ever had. I?ve noticed poor time management last time I was in but... this time was absurd and also, pretty gross. I ordered a chicken salad and a grilled cheese. It took 40 minutes. No therestaurant wasn?t completely crowded or anything. People were ordering food at the counter and receiving their orders beforemine (yes even burgers). Hello bistro usually takes forever. But 40 minutes? The gross part is I went to the bathroom. When Iwent out to wash my hands, a hello bistro employee came out of the stall and walked right out without washing her hands. When Icame out, I saw she was one of the ?chefs? in the kitchen. Some young girl with long dark hair in a ponytail. I wasbaffled. This young blonde girl was being helpful telling me it would be ready soon. 10 min later still nothing so I walked upto the end of the counter. It was at that time that an employee, maybe a manager of some sort came from the front of house andreturned to the kitchen. She had a nose ring and tattoos. The young blonde girl then asked her where the grilled cheese was. Shenever made it. She was in the front of the restaurant rearranging menus. I was astounded. Maybe because I?ve managed restaurantsmost of my life but wow. This was one of the worse experiences I had. And disgusting. To top it off as I was leaving anotheremployee was hugging and kissing her boyfriend right outside the front door. Very professional. This place is poorly managed.And food safety is an issue. Ordered a salad online and requested light dressing. My salad is literally drenched and so hard for me to eat.
Very fresh lettuce mix. All the veggies were heavy portions and the servers were very nice. The fries were delicious! Crispy but... not overdone. The chicken grain bowl was my favorite and we took a personal salad to go. 5/5 good outdoor seating as wrll Read more
Went here for the very first time after the gym today. Drove 20 minutes out of my way. Got here and was told by the manager... either order online or don't order because they aren't taking in house orders, until they are done with online orders. Whichwould be at least a half an hour. i don't know why you wouldn't have someone dedicated to people that show up to order. Ifonline is that much more important, than just put on your store, online orders only. Certainly will never come back here again.Complete turn off. It takes 2 minutes to make a salad. Do better. Sept 2021 update - Had to give them another try. They are in a relatively convenient spot next to all kinds of shopping and the... concept of salads and sandwiches for lunch is good. This was a gorgeous day and they had outdoor seating available, so the starsseemed to have aligned. This time we ordered a make-your-own salad and the Southwest BBQ burger meal. The burger was supposedto have some seasoning to it, but I could not detect any - perhaps due to the BBQ sauce, the french fries, the cheese andonions. It was tasty though, and I handled the lack of heat by grabbing some of the available Tabasco to dunk the burgerin. The salad was made just the way we wanted it. The shrimp are the little tiny ones, and even though we asked for it to belightly dressed, it was almost drenched, but overall, it was good and tasty. A salad and a burger ended up setting us back $25.Seems high. Overall, I am bumping up the rating to a three star for the better experience thistime. ================================================= 2021 - Went there last night on the way back from shopping and werevery disappointed. As it was a last minute decision, we did not order ahead, but stopped in. The ordering process was smooth andefficient. We noticed a LOT of people working and a bunch of people waiting for orders, but - maybe? - there were a lot of to-goorders? We ordered salads from their normal menu with one substitution in each salad. In one case, we asked that instead ofshrimp, they put in their Salmon. In the other case, we asked that they really spice it up! in both cases we weredisappointed. There was no real sign of any kind of COVID restrictions. We just discovered this place the other day and just loved it! We ordered online which was so easy. We picked it up and ate in a... nearby park. It was the best salad ever. I love that there are so many choices and that it was a flat fee. The family lovedtheir burgers. We will be back. Read more
