The environment on the upstairs level is so cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious.

What’s for dinner? (January 11, 2020) Bronzino & agnolotti pasta!!! My drink is a made with Effen vodka & pineapple juice!!!... For desert, we had the pound cake!!! Yum Yum Yum!! ???????????????? Meal specs: **FYI- I have the entire fish. I pre-order it.What they have on the menu is a filet. I’m a regular here** The Bronzino (fish) was spectacular, as always!! It is soflavorful & cooked to perfection!! The entire dish is Superb!!! ???????? The agnolotti pasta is made of white bean, greentomato, parmesan brodo, pesto & espelette!!! All I know is... that’s it’s very good!! I can not find myself to try somethingelse!!! These are two separate dishes. But, I treat the pasta as a side. I was able to eat both meals in its entirety!!! Thepasta isn’t like a big pasta dish. It’s more like a side. Even though it’s not under the sides. The cost fits the siderange. It’s just classified under pasta since that’s what it is!!! I ?? it!! ???? Desert specs: One thing I did trydifferent is the deserts. The pound cake was different & tasty!!! They gave you pieces of the cake with caramel overtop & theice cream placed on top of everything with more caramel on top of it!! There where a few hard pieces of some sort of goodnessspread throughout!!! ???? Drink specs: My Effen pineapple drink was great as usual!! You can tell that there is alcohol in it!!They give you a good amount. It’s my go to when I’m here!! ???????????? I ???????? this place!! I love both whole fish &pasta & get them both together!! Absolutely delicious!! A little snafu with the parking situation. It is $10 to park in the lot adjacent to the restaurant, no... matter if you use the valet or self park. The Wagyu crostini was delicious but the bread was thick and overwhelmed theflavorful ingredients. The star of the night was the pork chop. Perfectly cooked and the flavors were were amazing. I've eaten at all of the Deshantz restaurants and while they are all great, this one is my favorite. The ambiance, the plating,... the service, the cocktails and of course the food are all amazing. Can't wait to get back there again soon. Read more

Our first visit to the newly opened Fish nor Fowl was on a Friday evening and things were just beginning to hum as we arrived.... We utilized a car service and were dropped off right outside the front door. There is a valet and of course plenty of streetparking as well. Walking in we are greeted warmly by the host staff who immediately offered to show us to our seats. (we chosethe upstairs bar and even though they don't normally hold seats there, it was no problem as there were enough spots given it wasstill early in the evening.) We walk through the main dining room past the open kitchen where you can see all the action, asunderstated(focused) as it is. The main DR has a wall of windows and a wall of plants, literally an entire wall of tropicalplants! GORGEOUS! Up the stairs to the second floor, which is mezzanine style with a glass wall to aid in noise control Isuppose, but it also happens to look stunning. The interior is bright and crisp and modern; as if Frank Lloyd Wright haddesigned the set for Logan's Run. (That is a HUGE compliment, btw.) Even with all the clean lines and angles, the space is stillvery welcoming and comfortable. Now for the meal and service: Service first- Top notch. Evan and Heather in particular stoodout, primarily for their knowledge, thoughtfulness and approach. All the folks we encountered were friendly, well put togetherand actively attending to guests and tasks at hand. Meal: I lived in New Orleans for 20+ years and have had some of the bestfood in the world prepared by amazing chefs. I can comfortably state that once again, The DeShantz Group has gotten it right. Wehad six dishes and each one was impeccably prepared, plated and presented. The ingredients are top-notch and obviously beingcreated by a caring team of class-A chefs.
