Located in the heart of the Dormont Business District along West Liberty Ave. The margaritas were outstanding and the beer was... very cold. Our entrees were mostly good, with the enchiladas being a little disappointing. The service was not good on the daywe visited. There seemed to be a bit of a language barrier. Still worth a visit. Absolutely delicious! I have been looking around pittsburgh for years trying to find decent Mexican food and I have finally... found it! It's like being back home. The in house tortillas are perfect, the sides were all delicious. And the carnitas? Out ofthis world!!! All my families meals were so amazing and they were all impressed! A proviso - this place is great for what it is. Which is kind of a neighborhood taco place and not fine dining! We loved the... back patio area - probably around ten tables back there. There is also a cool vintage fridge in the bar on the way in that stillworks! We got guacamole to start and the taco Tuesday special - 10 tacos for $12. Great deal and totally respectable streettacos. We liked the cabeza best but the barbacoa were quite good. We also got an order of esquites which was great on it's ownand with the tacos. I also tried a chelada, which seemed to be a beer with lime juice and maybe some fizzy water? Not totallysure, but it was a fun new thing to try. They also have some other interesting drinks I've not really heard of before. All inall, a great place to go out for dinner, nice and casual, and the wait staff was super friendly, although maybe a littleinexperienced! Ordered for the first time tonight and I'm blown away! I ordered a portobello burrito and they were out, so they called and... offered some extra peppers instead. Honestly, it was delicious even without the portobellos. The chips are super fresh and thinand delicious. You get a lot of chips and salsa for the price which is great. Other places overcharge for chips and salsa. I'mexcited to order again! Read more
