Set up shop during my workday here. So many drinks to choose from. Great outdoor space and cool antiques inside to oogle, or... even buy. Bought multiple medicinal loose leaf teas here. Suggest this joint for when I have company in town. Read more

On a scale of cotton candy to Brussels sprouts, Biddle's Escape feels like the story of Peter Pan. It's whimsy and delight... around every corner. The space was delightful for meeting up with a new friend, and it's clear that it's a favorite spot forworking as many table occupants wielded a laptop and caffeination. Outdoor patio is covered, and tables were available inside aswell. Read more

The Biddles baristas are really sweet. Today I tried something new, the lavender butterfly lemonade. It's delicious and also... cute. These factors are important to me. Also there is a miniature bust of Vladimir Lenin on the pastry case. Five stars forthat alone. I don't think Lenin would order a lavender butterfly lemonade. You could work on a dissertation about that on thenice deck at Biddles probably. Read more

My favorite cafe in all of Pittsburgh. I've been coming here since 2015 and it has been nothing but lovely. Always a great vibe... with beautiful surroundings. Sometimes it's tight on seating, especially since they closed the upstairs a few years ago, but Itake it as a testament to how well they're doing. The coffee is good 80% of the time, I admit it could be more consistent. Evenso, it doesn't take away from the experience for me. Read more

They have a good variety of drinks on the menu, including some with loose tea, whereas most places only have bags. Lots of... flavour syrups, including some house-made. Bunch of interesting vintage/antique things to look at, too. Pastry selection waspretty sparse though, and I didn't want to bother them for a kitchen item as they were very busy, so I only got to try a drink. Read more

Here?s a super local coffee shop different from the majority located in the Pittsburgh area. Biddle?s Escape might suit the... taste of many people who like a good place to hangout and enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea, and might not suit the Starbucksfolk who like a modernized experience. Huge variety on offer, staff is well versed on preparation of many coffee/tea-based items. Great atmosphere, great outdoor... seating (with cover for rainy days!). The shop also promotes local business, local art, and advocacy for social change. Wellworth it, whether you live nearby or outside the East Pitt region. Read more
