I ordered a hamburger plain. I even specified meat and cheese only and the person taking the order repeated it back to me. The... sandwich I got when I got home, was bun, cheese and mustard. This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks this has happened and I will nevergo back there.. They are also the most expensive Del Taco I've ever been to. Go somewhere else. Read more
4490 Delta Gateway Blvd. in Pittsburg is the horrible location. Last night my boyfriend had gotten dinner for us. We waited 20... mins maybe longer in the drive thru. We were the only car! I repeat we were the only car. We were the only customers. They tookthere time making the order. Just for us to get home and to taste spoiled and stale food. We have gotten family meal and otherthings and nothing was good, either the fries was salty or the tacos and burritos was stale. So the following morning went totake the food back to received a refund and they was rude. The manager was not helpful at all. We spent almost $50 i should beable to get a full refund i brought back the food, the receipts and just for you guys to steal my money and not give it backtalking about They dont do refunds. We had a very specific vegan order and there was only one person working and he was wonderful he took his time and did his best.... I wish they would not just have one employee doing everything especially late at night. The rating is low because this is probably the most expensive Del Taco on the planet. Del Taco started in California and has... remained a fair deal in regards to other locations. This one looks like management is a bunch of penny pinchers. There's neveranyone inside, probably because the people that normally eat this kind of food can't afford it. The food made by the employeeswas good, I felt shorted on my fries but at least they were hot. Their "Below $2" has been unprofessionally modified to sayBelow $2.99. The numbers aren't even the same font or location. Easily false advertisement lawsuit material. But that prettymuch explains it. Expect to pay about 50% more here in comparison to other locations. Don't support this BS go to In-N-Out nextdoor. It's much cheaper there. Read more
I used to love del taco, it tasted better and was not as pricey as Taco Bell. And the employees really seemed to value their job... and customers. There aren't many locations of del taco in the bay area and it makes sense b/c del taco is a SoCal basedbrand. So to have Del Taco, its about a 45 - 50 minute drive. If's too bad that the Del Taco location in the Bay Area doesn'tcare about their customers, their jobs or their poor customer service. For this location, they've lost a customer (whichprobably doesn't mean much to them) ~ which is sad! I was charged double the amount of what my meal should have cost and afterdiscovering the error, I contacted corporate right away. Both replies stated that the management of the restaurant would becontacting me and both times they did not. I eventually had the overcharge handled by my bank. Like I said, no one cares abouttheir customers at this location. To double charge me for my order and not try to rectify it, is selfish and inconsiderate. Itsbeen a month since making my initial inquiry about the overcharge, and still no response has been received, and I even contactedthem a second time and still no contact to refund my $$. Read more
Came here for first time to try their food. Got a kids meal with burger fries milk and toy for $6...I also got a flatbread taco... and the bite size donut? ...total was around $12...the taco was ok, the donuts reminded me of the super donut but wayyy more oiland sugar on outer side but the worst was the burger...the bread was dry and basically expired, the meat was dry and disgusting...my son took a few bites then complained...hes 3 and knew something wasnt right...if i had went anywhere else i wouldve gottenbetter fast food for less...gave 2 stars because taco wasnt bad and they had a play place. On this particular visit I wasn't there for myself so I don't know how the food tasted that day I do remember that we would go... to taco Tuesdays at Del Taco and get a really good deal on their 3 tacos, and this is why I went there on this particular dayand let me tell you I guess the taco Tuesday deal is no more. Unless she totally misunderstood what I said when I said I wanted6 of their tacos specials then yeah they were no longer the best buy for your buck. Read more
