Oh. My. Goodness! A pork roll vegan sandwich?! Chickpea salad sandwich (?toona?)?! And a kids menu for my vegan kid? Wow!!... Everything was great. Great value, too! Great portions. You?ll leave full! They also have peanut butter cup cookie dessertthings which were heavenly. And they have YUM earth candy, which is nice instead of the candy with all the colorings and dyes,so I let my child choose two ???? and they have CHOMP peanut butter cups and chocolate bars ! I just so happened to stumble across this while in Pitman, let me just say there take on a "Vegan" Pork Roll Egg & Cheese was... ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Job well done! This adorable vegan cafe is a MUST if you find yourself in Pitman, NJ, or anywhere near by. The food was absolutely amazing. My... family and I are not accustomed to vegan cuisine but we wanted to try something new! I got the beyond burger (it was incredible,this may be the permanent go to from now on), and my family each ordered the ?BLT? and that too was so scrumptious. We leftfeeling happy, healthy, and with full bellies. The owners are incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience evenbetter. Please PLEASE give this place a try, I promise you will not be disappointed. I live over an hour away and I may justhave to ride back down to the The Gentle Giant for lunch soon. Read more
The watermelon gazpacho was wonderful, and the vegan burger was delish, too. Great to have a 100% vegan restaurant in Gloucester... County! My hubby and I aren't vegan, but we do appreciate good vegan food, especially when we want something a little different.Friendly and helpful service, good quality eats, reasonable prices. Plus they have coloring books for kids and adults, some artfor sale with proceeds benefitting a local animal rescue organization, and good views of the street if you like people watching. Read more
The owners were so welcoming and friendly, and they're happy to give menu suggestions. I didn't know what to expect when I... wandered in, but I was happy I did! I ended up with an all vegan bagel topped with cream cheese, carrot lox, pickled onion,fresh dill, and capers. Delicious! Got a side of tempeh bacon because I love the stuff. I can tell the owner and her husband arekind souls who put a lot of love into the menu options, and I'm excited to come back and try a soup or a burger (or both!). Read more
Talk about WOW. Vegan eatery with plenty of food options. I brought my girlfriend, whom isn?t vegan and she said ?I could... straight up eat this every day!? Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased the LTO (limited time only) V-Roll specialwhich had vegan pork roll w/ tofu egg, cheese and hash brown on a pretzel bun, we also purchased the breakfast sammie w/ tofuegg, cheese and tempeh bacon on a plain bagel.
