Perfect local coffee shop. I had the dark roast coffee ??, was delicious. Nice outdoor patio, not crowded, reasonably... priced. Totally recommend. Read more
A fresh new look and expanded space is a welcome vibe for this locally-owned coffee place and delicious eats. Lots of coffee and... beverage selections along with a breakfast menu. The patio in back is a nice addition too. A great place for a quick businessmeetup or some online homework that is quiet and mellow music. Read more
Lovely venue with a nice range of breakfast foods and drinks. You can take out your food, however there?s also nice seating... inside and outside. The staff were efficient and friendly, getting our food quickly. Overall the quality and cleanliness weregreat. Read more
Been coming here for over 10+ years. When I?m in town, this is the go-to coffee shop. I see a lot of the same regulars in there... every morning. Ironically, I don?t think I?ve ever seen the same staff members more than once. That?s irrelevant, but the coffeeis great. Daughter loves the blueberry muffins, too. Read more
*our food came out 20 minutes before our drinks** *An honest review* we love Steaming Bean! We?ve been coming here for 13 years.... Our recent visit we ordered the Avocado Toast and it?s a very poor value. Do not order. Please see the attached pictures. It wasnot toast it was warm bread, there was so little avocado on it it was almost a joke. To add a few bits of tomatoes was anadditional $1. For $5.95 it was a complete rip-off. The Mediterranean Scramble is only $3 more and it?s a platter of food, including more avocado than two Avocado Toasts combined (we actually checked). If you?ve ever made Avocado Toast at home you?llsee they use less than 1/4 of an avocado. The Mexican Mocha is AMAZING-highly recommend! **the prices listed on the written menuare not what you get charged. i.e-Mediterranean Scramble is listed as $8.95 but rings up as $9.50. Guy working the registerwouldn?t acknowledge or adjust the price. C?mon. It?s dishonest. Read more
Excellent breakfast burrito and coffee. Peets teas, and MORE. Small place, but they do have an outdoor back patio space that's... roomy. Popular and well worth the wait. Breakfast burritos DO have a medium to hot spicy salsa inside if you can't do spicy. Read more
Steaming Bean located on Shell Beach Rd, running next to Cabrillo Hwy. The vibe here felt like a casual coffee shop. My drip... coffee and muffin were perfect for the morning. I didn?t see any umbrella on the patio so be ready for some sun. Inside had goodseating too. We met a nice patron who was passing through. Good convo with coffee. I would recommend this place if you are inthe area. My wife and I visited with our dog (Oskar) but they can?t allow non-service dogs (must have papers). They hope tomake changes in the future. This place was recommended to us while we were in town and we weren't ready for what we were walking into. First off, it's got... that desired, hidden gem kind of feel to it when you first come upon it, like it's either going to be a magical experience orleave you wondering how it stays in business. Y'all, it was magical. Service was super pleasant, not off-putting, in your facecustomer service, felt like authentic human beings trying enjoy themselves and the customer. Then, I don't know how you could doanything but enjoy the food and drinks ???? not kidding, my favorite coffee order, so completely fulfilled everything I want ina drink, and I got a breakfast sandwich that was 1, tasty and filling, and 2, didn't feel like a gut bomb I'd have to walk offfor the next half hour. I think if we were locals, I would be at the Steaming Bean way too often. Makes me jealous of localshaving this gem just waiting to serve them! Read more
