Maybe my husband just makes a really good steak, next time I?ll order seafood. Our waitress and the ambiance was worth eating... there. She was honest about what we should order for dessert, which we appreciated.???? everything was great, and at a certainprice point, it?s expected. Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and drinks. Gorgeous ocean view with inside or outside dining. Valet parking is also... available. Our waitress was really personable and attentive. 4 stars due to the services being slow. I would definitely dinehere again. Read more
Had an early Mothers Day Brunch for my mom this past weekend with my bestfriend and her mom. And once again Lido did not... disappoint! The food/drink(bottomless mimosas????), service, atmosphere, location, all of it was perfect that day! Thank you somuch Lido for contributing to such a wonderful day and celebration for our moms???? Lido is a hidden gem in the Shell Beach / Pismo Beach area. We literally ran into it walking alongside the cliff next to the... Spyglass Inn, in search for a sunset view dinner. Given the Easter weekend, this was a far shot. Lido is part of the pool-siderestaurant at Dolphin Bay resort. The tables are outdoors but also behind a glass with plenty of heaters so you don't get cold.But what all of this delivers is a breath-taking sunset view with dinner. Even without the food, just this atmosphere deserves 5stars. Now let's get to the food. Amazing fresh-baked bread welcomed us. Oysters were absolutely fresh and delicious. The beefcarpaccio was even better. And the scallops were cooked to perfection - no fishy taste while being balanced with bean sprouts(that's a first!). We genuinely enjoyed a quality meal prepared with care and creativity. We do not live nearby but Lido now isa must-stop location for us whenever we drive by Pismo Beach. Read more

Plenty of heaters and clear glass walls to block the wind. Food was beautiful, but taste waslacking a bit on the entrees, especially the filet, which although tender, which lacked seasoning. The sides and sauce on thefilet were bland too. The bouillabaisse was also a bit uninspired. The appetizers (scallops, bao buns with crab/pork belly) werefantastic. The dessert (olive oil cake, flourless chocolate torte) was also incredible. The tea water was lukewarm, not even hotenough to let the tea leaves steep properly. I asked for a refill of hot water, and the refill was lukewarm too. Overall, abeautiful location and presentation. Just wish the entrees had a bit more pizazz! Read more
