More than once a manager took notice of a long line, at night, and directed myself or others to a register and got the cashier... back to save us time. I also love their sushi department's offerings. I hadn't been in a while and they moved+upgraded theirself checkout stations. It isn't as cozy but there are more stations so I can't complain. Read more
I am disappointed. I have been going to this location for about ten years now because it is right around the corner from me.... Today I went and ordered frozen crab legs as they were on sale. The guy in the seafood department seemed kind. However, Inoticed that when I made my order he bagged the legs from a different box and the angle did not allow me to see clearly. When Igot home it appears that this gentleman picked the worst legs in the box for me and my family. They smelled bad and had blackspots on them. With the climate we are in now, I hate to use the race card. However, I must say that I feel that the way I wasdressed (just came from working out) and because I am black that he assumed that I would be grateful for this trash. Just shopped here yesterday. Main issue I have is that people are loitering in parking lot after dark. I had two vehicles... that parked near me blasting their electronic gadgets. I don't feel safe. This one truck from Florida parked near me, hismusic was blasting while he was supposedly cleaning out his truck. The Applebee's nearby...complicates matters. Otherwise---Shoprite is fantastic! Inflation and corona Virus had Shoprite see record profits the last few year, NJ getting rid of plastic bags save Shoprite a... ton of money and yet we have so many self checkout registers? I love ShopRite so much, and now that I've moved out of state, I really miss it. Nothing compares! They have it all. Great... prices, great selection, clean, fresh produce, nice bakery selection, friendly staff, and hot food bar to boot. What's not tolove?! While the Piscataway location isn't as glamorous and spacious as some of the newer builds, it holds a special place inmy heart because it's where our family always did our grocery shopping for 2 decades. I'll always stand by ShopRite. I justwish they would can-can into Upstate New York! Read more
Good ShopRite location. Has everything you need. Only downside : the aisles and open areas are very cramped and get congested... very easily. Also the some of dairy products (milk, yogurts) are not stored in enclosed fridges so they are exposed to roomtemperatures. Otherwise, this ShopRite location is good. Read more
