The best food at Rutgers. Friendly staff and great playlist of music. Everyone there really cares about the customers. This is... my go-to place to eat on Livingston campus. I really wish though they would open earlier than noon so students could eat a goodbreakfast and stay open later than 6pm so kids can actually get dinner after there done with there night classes. I like the concept of having an actual restaurant that takes meal swipes, but you can?t get much for a meal swipe. You either... get an entree (that is very small portion) or a starter and desert. There is no way to make a meal out of Henry?s Diner for ameal swipe. Read more
In the past all my experiences at this restaurant have been pretty pleasant. That was not the case today. We had several issues... with our food Wet sugar packets Coffee stains on our Coffee mugs Coffee tasted burnt Pancakes didn't taste that great and had aslightly gritty texture Eggs were undercooked We didn't finish our food. Just paid the bill and got breakfast somewhere else.We won't come back for a while. Read more
Decor and music were fantastic! We were seated fairly quickly. Service was slow but the waitress was very nice (she clearly was... a student and inexperienced). The food was crazy good, I was surprised. The chicken Parm was the best I have had in a while. Thecheck was also on the cheap side. If I?m in the area again, definitely will be back. Read more
The staff is nice. The food is expensive and portions are small for a diner. However, the desserts are really worth it.
