I was having a rough day and I’ve had some bad experiences. On the DoorDash app for pickup it said my food was done 30 min... before I arrived even though I put the time I needed to pick it up. When I got there the to-go staff reassured me the foodwasn’t sitting long. Due to my experiences I didn’t believe them. They acquiesced and reheated the food for me. They werekind even though I was being difficult. I wanted to say my apologies and I very much appreciated their customer service. Thefood was great and I was not disappointed. I can only give this restaurant a 3 star review because of my service. The food was amazing. Not greeted at the door for a long... time. Another person was in front of me waiting also. The server did not bring silverware to eat steamed oysters ( he said Icould eat them w a plastic folk - hot juicy oysters could melt plastic)! The oysters were very good! The server brought my shakeshrimp and crab combo and left the table. I was struggling to get the crab open and got up to interrupt the server and anotherworker at the bar and ask for crab crackers. The server laughed at me and told me they were only upon request! This is a seafoodrestaurant that apparently you need to ask for anything you need to get the food in your mouth. I wanted to try the Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls but they were sold out. The prices were a little steep... but the food was... worth it. The shrimp boil, fried shrimp basket, catfish basket, fried calamari, and cheese sticks were all well seasoned anddelicious. The juicy special sauce was so good, we were pouring it over the fried shrimp too. The bartender's special and Bahamamama were very strong which we appreciated! Absolutely marvelous food! You did your thing I ate like a queen and I was very very satisfied. I couldn't decide what to order... because everything looks so delicious so I just decided to order everything I wanted I'm glad I did. You're definitely now mynew number one seafood restaurants in Charlotte. The service was great. The establishments clean and the bathrooms weresanitized. I have been to the spots 2-3 times.
