The owner (Dennis) bends over backwards to make your dining a pleasure. We usually have a martini or sometimes two with Shawn... the bartender (makes a perfect dirty martini) and then to our table for a perfect meal everytime. Steak that should have been been medium rare was medium well. Pasta chicken tasted like Campbell soup-mushroom recipe and pasta... was mushy. Ribs were very good. Service was very good and prompt. Read more

Expectations were low when we walked in but oh my goodness what a surprise! We ordered a burger, the tempura shrimp and the... seafood salad. The burger was perfectly cooked! The tempura shrimp was excellent. The seafood salad with salmon was done exactlyas ordered. The only thing to criticize was that the onion rings stayed in the fryer a bit too long. Chalet is great! I will be honest in saying that I wasn't sure what to expect but i was greatly surprised when I realized the... place is awesome. The food was amazing and quick. All of the staff was awesome and very personable. After dinner, if you feelso included, check out the bar and Shawn. He's great and definitely helps to wind things down and have a great evening. Likely the best service on the mountain. Menu isn't broad, but it's good and amazingly the sushi is good, too! The owner/manager... is on top of everything, and is fully engaged. If you're looking for seafood, this is your place in Pinetop! Read more

Totally unexpected find in the white mountains. Ordered crab legs (divine), fried zucchini (sooo good), salads, and sushi. All... were really great. Came in for the fish fry and wow! Excellent tempura-type beer batter cooked to perfection! Also ordered a cheeseburger that... had the best flavor-beef at it's finest. The cheddar was robust and the garnishes fresh. All the help had smiles that wentalong with the excellent service.
