For as good as a Waffle House can be. The staff at this location was super friendly and attentive. Gretchen was our waitress and... on top of it. I gave 4 stars because this location does not have straws for your drinks. Thankful I had a reusable one in mypurse. I get that paper straws don't last and aren't as good, but something is better than nothing. Read more
Waffle house serving the St Pete area. What can I say? It's Waffle House. You either love it or you have never been to... one. The staff here are excellent. They are fast and the food is cheap. The menu selection is small so ordering is easy.Quality over quantity. Everything is delicious and bad for you. Everything tastes like everything that has ever touched thegriddle. Went for breakfast after camping overnight at Fort DeSoto. Got a booth as soon as I walked in, they were short staffed and it... became very busy soon after I got there. My waitress (I can't remember her name :( ) was very friendly and even though she wasbusy she made sure to refill my coffee a couple times. My food took a little longer then I had expected but it wasdelicious(pecan waffles, hashbrowns and bacon)! Read more
Walked in and was not greeted fondly. As if they were tired of customers. Said we could sit wherever. Then when our server... walked over she asked us to move to an open section. That the area we picked was now closed. Once we ordered she wasimpatient with our requests for butter and other things. She didn't come back till she brought our check.
