Reviews for Bambu in Pinellas Park, FL
We had a great experience here for our party of 5. Most of us ordered the vermicelli noodle bowl, which came with pork and... sausage. The meats were delicious, albeit different (re: sausage) than what we?ve had at other Vietnamese restaurants. We alsoordered a banh bao bun and banh kep ?tacos?. The bun was decent, but the 2 tacos were delicious and flavorful! Definitely wishedthe order came with 3 rather than 2 though, given the petite size. We topped it all off with Thai tea bobas, which were alsogood. Overall, we had a great lunch and the service was excellent. The owners were so nice and friendly, and checked on usfrequently. We will definitely be back again! Read more
Very good variety, ingredients, and ambience. I especially was very impressed with the excellent cleanliness of the bathroom.... That may sound odd, but if you tour restaurants, you know what I'm talking about. Most will wash up before eating... thecleanliness of a place should be universal, and attention to detail is what makes a place a 5 star place vs everywhere else. Read more
I?ve been to multiple Bambu locations and this particular location has the best Che, boba tea, and Vietnamese coffee. This... Bambu is very unique. They offer shaved ice and bistro / snack type foods. Let me tell you? you absolutely need to try theirmango shaved ice. The shaved ice tastes nothing like ice but rather like ice cream. It?s smooth, sweet and delicious!! Theshaved ice portion is rather big so you may need to share with another person or two. Drop by and try their drinks, dessertsand snacks. I spoke with one of the workers/owners and they mentioned that they use fresh ingredients daily. Read more
Order up front and take a seat. We got a mango shaved ice, a strawberry shaved ice and a taro/coconut mixed boba smoothie. The... shaved ices were very creamy and refreshing. The texture was really cool and the layers were fun to eat. The boba from thesmoothie was the highlight, super soft, chewy, and flavorful, brown sugar and caramel notes. Sweet little cafe that has a lot ofdessert choices. Look forward to coming back and trying their savory items - they have pho and sammies. Read more
The interesting thing about Bambu is that the menu seems to be different, but most things similar, across the U.S. I?ve tried it... in Houston, TX, Grand Rapids, MI, and now Ppark, FL. That being said, this location has had consistently great drinks/ dessert!A little pricier than other places, but the quality is excellent and well worth it. Plenty of choices on the menu. Ingredientswere fresh. Friendly staff. Mangonada - Excellent Avocado Che (forgot what it?s called) - good. I?d prefer not to have coffeejelly since it overpowers the avocado, but that?s my preference. Not pictured - I tried the Vermicelli Noodle combo and it wasdelicious! Hope they can put Vietnamese Shrimp/ Seafood toast on the menu one day like the one I?ve tried in MI. Definitelygive this place a try. Read more

No complaints. This is a great place to eat. I had a waffle, an iced coffee, wings, and open-faced buns (wanted to sample since... it was my first time). The Korean wings and iced coffee were my favorite. The owner came out after our meal and sat with us. Allof the food is made to order and very fresh. Will definitely come back and bring a few friends. ???????? Read more
I was really excited to try Vietnamese che and it did not disappoint! I got their signature #1 drink and it was so delicious... with many textures and the right amount of sweet. I also tried many food items, which were all just mediocre. The food lacksflavor and is missing the abundance of fresh herbs and spiced oils. The desserts and drinks are 5 star worthy. If you go for theChe, Boba, egg waffles, shaved ice?you won?t be disappointed. Read more
