Would you like to eat a bowl of cholesterol? How about a side of cheese wiz? I ordered caldo de pollo and received caldo de beef... bone soup instead. It looks like dirty grease water or menudo water with beef bones. Gross. The "queso", wasn't even to the topand looks like it came from a jar of cheese wiz, yuk. What a joke. Don't bother. Read more
This is a small family run establishment. I love the chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant and they made them fresh in house.... They were fairly thin too, which I love. The food was excellent and the service was especially attentive. I recommend givingthis place a try. You won't regret it Read more
Amazing depth in flavors. This is not your typical Tex-Mex! The red salsa has building heat that ebbs and flows. The green sause... is mild with citrus flavor. Our waiter, Cesar, was attentive, provided excellent service, and answered all my questions. (Iasked tons). The manager/owner Judy consistently greeted regulars and once she was told we were first timers, she came over totalk with us. The portobello fajitas were sliced, seasoned, and grilled to perfection. The white corn tortillas and flourtortillas tasted in-house fresh made. The Kitchen sink skillet meal was layers of potatoes, sausage, bell peppers, and I orderedsoft scrambled eggs on top with a side of pico. Food was served sizzling hot, hearty, flavorful breakfast. Rita?s is more thanhappy to adjust menus to your liking, so next time I am going to order the Kitchen sink with has browns on bottom. To top it alloff, first time visitors receive a complementary tower of churros. 3 crunchy churros are cut and stacked, filled with homemadewhipped cream, topped with strawberries and drizzled with goat Carmel sauce. Be warned - this is not your average Carmel sauce(so good). The question isn?t if we will come back, but instead how soon we well be back. If you haven?t already been to Rita?srun as fast as you can- GO! Read more
