This restaurant and lounge used to be more formal, all dark wood, even had pool tables way back. Felt like one of those felt... jacket, cigar and a whiskey kind of places. A couple of years ago they updated the lounge into a sports bar feel. Painted allthe wood light, added TV's everywhere, refreshed the whole look. They offer your typical sports bar fare like sandwiches andchicken fingers. The bar is well stocked. The price is up there for what it is but all things associated with Callaway tend tobe towards proud. Something to note is that the location is almost always dead. I haven't been for dinner in a while, wetypically get a late lunch after seeing the gardens. The food, fries, etc. are almost always on a cook to order standing and Ihave not personally ever seen more than three people on staff at a time. In the past several years we have seen the samewaitress each time. She is gracious and friendly. We are of an understanding that nothing is going to happen quick and itshouldn't. It offers a good time to hang out and enjoy the ambiance and talk to your company. Given the choices in this area notinvolving a long drive it's worthwhile. Read more

I had the Philly cheesesteak and it was good but not any better than a fast food restaurant. The quality of the food should have... been better for the price. The service was acceptable but not as good as I would have expected for ours being the only table shewas servicing. It has more of a sports bar feel than a mountain cabin feel that I was expecting. While there is a nod to the 1950's retro design, the general appeal is quite modern, open. light and inviting in building... aesthetic. Oddly, the restaurant is more visible from the road than the much larger motel behind it, the Mountain Creek Inn,also very charming. If you're staying at the inn, you have no excuse not to eat here, because the food is delicious, theservice is professional and friendly and if you want to indulge, you're only a short walk from your room. Our server was Ada,and she was an excellent wait staffer. Even if you're not staying at the inn, if you're passing through Pine Mountain, you'llwant to eat here for lunch or dinner. Restrooms are clean. What more can you ask for when you're eating out? Pictures showthe restaurant in the morning before lunch. Read more

A very enjoyable experience! From when you walk in to be seated, to your service throughout your meal, a pleasant and leisurely... dining experience. Food is very tasty, and well prepared and presented. Our server was outstanding, friendly, but did not hover.Keep in mind, this place is located just off the lobby of the resort, so it's got that typical "hotel restaurant and bar vibe,"and that's alright. The experience well made up for it. Read more

My good friend brought me to Pine Mountain to see Callaway recently and we stayed at the Mountain Creek Inn. Safe to say we had... to check out Spirit of 52 for dinner and drinks. Great selection on beer and food. Customer service was great and quick. It wasdefinitely convenient since we were staying at the inn where the restaurant is located but I would definitely recommend thisplace. A lot of tv screens to accommodate the sport loving fanatic as well as separate seating for both bar lovers and visitingfamilies in case you and friends get a little loud. Would visit again. Read more
