Stole our money. Severely under prepared our food. Staff didn?t? care in the slightest. We did not eat the food. We asked what?s... as going on and received no answer. We were denied a refund. We simply left. It was not worth the 2 hour drive to or from to beso disappointed by such horrible staff and service. Read more
One star since 0 was not an option. Bad experience all the way around. Service was slow which I am understanding of since they... were obviously understaffed. Order was done incorrectly & may have been too complicated. Ordered well done scrambled eggs withwell done bacon broken up & added to the eggs. Came out as a runny omelet which after 30 more minutes I was able to send back tobe cooked more. When it came out the 2nd time I found the bacon was also undercooked. At this point I had lost my appetite. When I spoke to the server, when she finally brought the check, she took it off the bill but charged me for a full order of homefries, since a side order came with the eggs. I haven't been here in a while, always enjoyed their breakfast. Called in my order, was told 15-20 minutes...got there and still... was waiting. Waited another 15 almost 20 minutes and left with NO FOOD! I don't know what happened to this place....smh Read more
This diner has the best food. Nice variety, nice size portions, friendly atmosphere, delicious food, very reasonable prices,... quick service, breakfast all day long, outstanding service! Also have the best cakes made for various occasions. Beautifullydecorated, delicious cakes and cookies. Very clean. Take out is made just like it is when you eat there. Best diner in NewJersey!!!! Used to love this place. Very affordable but last 3visits were very disappointed. Not like it once was :*( How can you mess up... a hungry man's special? Eggs were almost over medium but still slimy, home fries were like tasteless mashed potatoes, bacon wasway undercooked could still see fat. Baby had hard silver dollar pancakes, Canadian bacon awful & no icing/cream on giantcinnamon roll. My daughter's ravioli looked like it was from a can. Eagle Diner was one of my favorite spots but I don't knowwhat happened!!! I tried 3 times in last two months & all three times food was terrible :*( Will not go back or recommend to myfamily & friends any more. We have to find a new place to eat when visiting the area. My 20-yr-old son treated me here for a Moms day date. It was my first time there but will not be my last. I swore they had my... mom cooking in the kitchen. The food was amazing! He had quesadias and I had open face turkey. WAS SO YUMMMM! Then, they gave mea beautiful red rose as we were leaving & wished me happy Mother's Day. That really touched my heart ? Read more

Great family owned diner. Food is good, plentiful and reasonably priced. I recommend to anyone on a budget. You easily get 2... meals out of whatever you order! Read more
