This place is AWESOME!! This is the second time we have ate here and they do not disappoint! Chicken and dumpling soup just like... grandma used to make, a must have! Deep fried pickles and a perfectly cooked burger...Yup they are yummy also! Plus the pricesare very reasonable. Down home. Visit this place soon as they are moving like 5 miles west, still on Hwy 70. The staff is friendly and so is the... clientele. Food is delicious. Specials every day. Prices are good too. Can't beat it whether breakfast, lunch, or supper. Read more

Nice place!! Great looking meats in the meat case and freezer. Love the "daily special" WALL. Shows each day of the week and... what their specials will be each day for breakfast, soup, and lunch-dinner. We had the beef stew "soup". Wow!!! Delicious andstick to your ribs. This restaurant used to be right off the 35 freeway exit just before Pine City but has moved into a newbuilding across from Heidelberg, 3 miles west of the original. Go and enjoy!!!
