Additional Information
The folks there are very helpful and go beyond food service. The coffee was good and served with a side of milk as I requested.... Most places don't do this without an additional fee. There was no rush to free up my table, and they continued to make sure Ihad fresh coffee. The waffles were fluffy and tasty, with fresh strawberries, not strawberry syrup. Read more
Had an awful experience on couple of visits and this last one was so bad that I wasn't sure if I was on a hidden camera show. I... live in the UK but I visit my sister in Pine Bush a couple of times a year. The customer service in the UK is pretty appallingcompared to the US so I don't expect much but WOW was this awful. It started literally when we walked in the door and asked fora table. The woman at the desk looked confused and put out at the idea of having to find us a table. Even crazier was that therewere only TWO tables in use. The place was practically empty. She yelled at a waitress and then BOTH of them looked around likefinding us a place to sit was as difficult as trying to figure out Einstein's theory of relativity. When we were finally sat atthe table nothing seemed easy. They didn't have one of the items we ordered and when we asked for a moment to find somethingelse, it felt like an issue. My sister and I were pretty much laughing at this point because the whole thing was so weird. Thefood came out and my omelette was honestly disgusting. The cheese wasn't melted and the home fries were soggy and brown. Whollyunappetising and just gross. Needless to say this was the last time I'll ever visit this diner. It's a real shame, too, becauseit used to be amazing and I actually used to look forward to having a meal there when I was visiting. No more, though. Read more
Good food, Excellent friendly service, with a touch of retro vintage. We were a big group went into the restaurant near closing... time and the staff took good care of us despite the fact there was only waitress left for her shift plus one cook in thekitchen. I ordered prime steak with garlic butter that comes with soup or salad. Good portion size, beef was tender. Some peoplefrom our group went back the next day but this time we called ahead to give them a heads up. Read more
