I've passed this establishment quite a few times, and decided to take my daughter here for her birthday. I read a few reviews... and didn't really know what to expect. I didn't make a reservation, but luckily was able to get a table, because they had a hugegroup coming in, so the restaurant was full, and noisy, and hard to carry on a conversation. I was told this was not a usualoccurrence. This is a historic tavern/hotel built in the mid-1800s, and it is hope of the owner, Vincent Schiano, to eventually renovate the upper floors of the building to operate it again as a hotel. So, to dine in a historic building is a uniqueexperience. There are 2 dining areas, and because of the large group, we were relegated to the front section, that had tables, and was a little cramped. The back section has booths and is more roomier. The smaller room is indicative of an older building, and is quite quaint. This casual dining restaurant is a popular local establishment that sits on the wide main street of thesmall country town of Pillow, and for good reason: the portions are generous, the food is good and the service is good. Thecombination of various elements here makes it worthwhile to make the drive to this destination. Just to be safe, make areservation. Read more

The hotel is definitely worthy of a long distance trek. The food is excellent and the staff is very attentive to your... needs. Good eats that won't break the bank. If you leave there hungry, you did something wrong. Thumbs up! Enjoy. Read more

I have only ever eaten breakfast at the Hotel Pillow. I do love the breakfasts there. The omelets are scrumptious. Their... pancakes are absolutely the biggest ones I've had. Their home fries with mushrooms, pepper, and onions are divine (haven't seenthem anywhere else). I love their breakfasts. Good food, good price too! Updated 7/24/2022: Today I had a delicious dinnerSunday lunch at the Hotel Pillow. They have a wide variety on the menu. I had a wonderful glazed ham steak, mashed potatoes &gravy, broccoli and a salad. Everything was delicious and the ham steak was enormous. The ham was soft, tender and so tasty. Theservice was excellent with our food delivered quickly. I will definitely be returning again. Read more

I eat here regularly. I ordered a ham steak for the first time and was amazed at the size of it! It was big enough to feed a... family of 4! So tender and juicy, you could cut it with a fork! I brought more than 1/2 of it home! You need to try thisplace! You'll be glad you did! Read more
