Good halal food. We loved the baked meat patties, which were cooked to perfection. The dumplings were very tasty. Did not like... the shurba however that's because of my taste likings maybe. It did look rich Read more

Absolutely amazing Uzbekistani & Russian style cuisines, with the steak, chicken, and ground beef kebabs as a main highlight for... me. The salads were very fresh tasting and the Napoleon & Baklava desserts were really good with the provided green tea. Visitedfor the 1st time the previous Fathers Day & all around great experience. Will most certainly return again for anothercelebratory occasions. Check it out, no disappointments! Read more

The Silk Road Bistro serves traditional Uzbek food. It's prepared to order, fresh, and quite good. The decor is beautiful, and... they have belly dancers on Thursday evenings. We had a loaf of Uzbek bread. It looked like a very large bialy, and it was verygood. I had a samsara appetizer, a triangular pastry filled with minced beef, pastry, and spices, excellent. Then I had ashurpa, a traditional Uzbek soup with lamb, chickpeas, and vegetables. Finally, I had manti, dumplings filled with either beef, pumpkin, or potatoes. I chose potato. My meal was excellent, and the price was reasonable. My only complaint is that there wastrash on the sidewalk outside the front door of the restaurant, and there's not a wheelchair accessible entrance. Paying thebill was interesting. The bill had a QR code. Pointing my phone at the QR code and clicking on the resulting link brought meright to the page where I could pay with a credit card. The What3Words address of the Silk Road Bistrois: ///snow.oddly.lots The What3Words address of their parking lot in the back is: ///truth.organs.fence There is a backentrance from the parking lot into the restaurant. What a great experience. This was the first experience for my wife and I of Uzbek food and it was AMAZING! Highly, highly... recommended. Gregory was very friendly and helpful in recommending excellent authentic Uzbek dishes. We had the Samsa’s, Plovand authentic Uzbek bread. Everything was truly delicious and very filling. Genuinely the best “new ethnic food” experienceI’ve had in many, many years! Read more

Very good clean, home cooked food. I had the pumpkin dumplings, shurpa soup and carrot salad. The soup had a tender lamb rib. ... I could tell the dumplings were hand made. They weren’t over boiled. The decor inside has an exotic decor. I definitely beback when I’m on this side of town. Read more

Definitely going back. Salad, main dish, kabobs were all excellent. Forgot to order the veggie kabob but will next time. Prices... are fantastic too. Been to a few of these places but this one is by far the best. Read more
