Reviews for First Watch in Pikesville, MD
Such delicious food. Great variety. Excellent service. Comfortable atmosphere. Love it! I'd eat here everyday.
First time eating in, although we've ordered take out many times. They were busy, of course, but we were seated sooner than they... said to expect. Our server (Aniya) was friendly, fast, attentive, and accommodating. The entre presentations were great and thefood was good as always. We had: The Works Omelet (for me) and wife had the Smoked Salmon & Roasted Vegetable Frittata. Then weshared the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Will return. Read more
Everything that I've eaten here has been so delicious! Some of the menu items that was enjoyed was new to me either in... preparation, presentation, or description on the menu. In any case, challenged my sense of texture and taste and I was notdisappointed! Everything was served as described, appropriately heated or chilled. I've not been disappointed but I likeeverything so far, either here or elsewhere. Read more
First watch is on my top 3 restaurants in the Maryland area. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I could see why... they are award-winning. The drinks are as refreshing as they look. I recommend the purple Haze drink and their biscuit andturkey sausage gravy with eggs. It will not disappoint! Read more
Tasty breakfast, exceptionally friendly and patient staff (my thanks to hostess, and our server Jasmine). Thanks for letting... my elderly father shift us to a booth for a more comfortable seat. Btw, the personal coffee pot on the table is a great option!Biscuits and gravy, breakfast potatoes, bacon, OJ, and avocado toast get high marks! Read more
Always a pleasure when visiting First watch. The staff is always friendly and the food is always delicious. The only small issue... we had this time was waiting for my husband's entree. I received my order fresh and hot, while it almost took his order 15minutes to arrive and it was warm. It was really busy today so I'm guessing that's the reason while. Overall, this is a greatplace for breakfast a d lunch. Definitely recommend. Read more
Entrees are good, but was not a fan of the sides. I got the lemon cheese pancakes. Cheese is mixed into the batter although I... couldn't taste it at all. Portions were large and pancakes were tasty in general. My tomato bisque soup tasted like spaghettisauce, and cheesy grits tasted like grits with a melted slice of cheese on top. The soup and grits were sub-par in my opinion.Hot chocolate was good although the chocolate syrup was dripping down the side of the cup and onto the table. The drink gotreally sweet and full of unmixed syrup towards the end. Staff was extremely friendly. Read more
I came across this restaurant as I was planning my trip to Baltimore. I sent it to my friends and told them that this would be... our Saturday Brunch location. Thanks to Yelp I added my party to the WaitList once I arrived to ensure we were in line as Ianticipated a wait. Once we were all on location we walked in and we?re greeted by the hostess. Upon providing her my name shechecked me in and advised me of the wait. To my dismay I learned that your time on the waitlist doesn?t actually start until yougo inside and check-in. This is something to keep in mind for those who use the waitlist option. The anticipated wait time was25-30 minutes, however, we were seated within 7 minutes. Great way to Under promise and Over deliver. The ambiance of therestaurant is very casual. The design is FarmHouse themed and super appealing. The neutral color execution allows for the barndecor and doors to be the eye catching elements of the room. It is a beautiful setup and puts you in the mind of a farm freshmeal. Great thinking from whoever came up with this concept. Upon being seated it took a few minutes for our waitress to cometo our table. As the restaurant was full it was understandable. Once Emily arrived at our table she was very upbeat, full ofsmiles, and delivering charismatic customer service. She took our drink orders and allowed us more time to review the menu. Idecided on the Carrot Cake and Pecan Pancake with a side of Bacon (well done). The Carrot Cake and Pecan Pancake was somethingnew for me. I love all three elements which caused me to be excited to see what they would be like combined. The pancake doestake up the entire plate just as described on the menu. The pancake has a nice balance as though it is carrot cake themed itdoesn?t lose the foundation of being a pancake. I was very pleased with the flavor and portion of this pancake. I did use syrupwith it which allowed the cake element of the pancake to come out. The good thing is that the syrup is Read more
