This was our first time at the Sunliner. I expected this to be a fun place to take the family and that the food would be good.... It was so much more than that! So fun and food tasted great! We loved this place so much we went back twice during our short trip. It?s themed and decorated so... cute! All the wait staff were dressed cute and so friendly. We visited for the first time yesterday while in P.F. Our teen son and daughter love diner themed restaurants and I read the... reviews beforehand. This place lived up to our expectations. The guy who waited on us was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the50s music and the girls dancing that worked there. I enjoyed the high energy. The classic cars in the restaurant were a nicetouch. The food tasted great!! I ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. It was amazing!!! Thismade for a great memory on our family trip. I'd highly recommend this place!!!! This place is way bigger than it seems from the outside. We got seated fairly quickly. Our server Alleen was very attentive and... full of energy. She gave us ideas for our meals. Visit here on your trip to Pigeon Forge for the fun of it Four stars only because of the atmosphere and some of the food was... good. I will get straight into the food first. We went yesterday around 5pm and the food took a long time to come out. I wouldsay one of the longest waits we've had in all our dining over the years. The male server did not know the menu because I askedfor Cole Slaw instead of fries and after the long wait on our food he walks up with fries under my nuggets. Nuggets were prettydry and I could have cracked some brittle with the coating. The good news is my husband had the Sunliner Burger and liked it. Myteen had a Burger and Chocolate Shake, loved it. He also liked the gift shop. Female waitresses had some cute outfits to matchthe era. Nicely decorated for Christmas. $$$$ Read more
I will start with the obvious. The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. The owners definitely spent the money to bring back the... old dinner look with the lights, colors, bar stools, waitress outfits and look, and an additional 2 cars turned into tables.Just walking inside made me smile. The wait staff were all nice, quick, and professional. They blended into the environmentperfectly. The food portions were quite large. I love that you can get breakfast all day as well. They went above and beyondwith putting a waffle and whipped cream on top of an old style shake. My husband's Ruben was delicious. We got waffles, and theywere good too, just not a lot of flavor. However, syrup helps with that. I spent the same amount at the dinner for a huge mealthat I did at a few other places in the area, but I got half the amount at those other areas. Read more
