Oh my. Where shall I begin? This place was AMAZING!!!! The best Southern cooking I've ever had other than my mom and... grandmother's cooking! Everything was delicious. We went to the Sunday brunch and it totally impressed us. The price is well worth all the food. If you are a donut fan I?d... suggest getting reservations on the earlier side because they were almost all gone by 10:30 when we had our reservation. Ourfavorite foods were the crepe brûlée French toast, the broccoli casserole, and the fried chicken. Beautiful restaurant with attentive and kind waitstaff. Food was tasty, and there was lots of it. Come hungry, if not starving,... to make it worth the high price. Dinner buffet included a grits-bar (similar to an omelet bar, but with grits and associatedtoppings), prime rib, fish, fall-off-the-bone ribs, fried chicken, salad bar, and copious options for dessert. Great food and a huge, delicious selection. We weren't staying at the hotel but decided to try eating here and didn't regret... it! A huge selection of yummy southern comfort food, and even an expansive dessert selection (as you can tell from my sweettooth childs spread (picture)). Staff was friendly and courteous as well. A wonderful place for brunch! Food and drinks were amazing. Prime rib was fantastic. Make your own donut and pancake station was... delicious. Beautiful dining room that is very comfortable. Staff friendly and accommodating- Frai and Dottie were wonderful.And for $25 a person, very reasonably priced. First off, this place is beautiful. There is so much detail and fine little touches everywhere you look. Secondly the food is... INCREDIBLE. I am from the south, I know good southern cooking. If it ain't my mammaws house, finding home cooked southern cookedmeals are secret little hole-in-the-wall restaurants. To be so main stream, this place has some dang GREAT southern foods. Allyour favorites, cooked well, clean, and full of southern love in true Dolly Fashion. Sunday Brunch is my favorite because youget the best of both worlds. It can be pricey for some at about $25.00 a person, but it is buffet style, so you will NOT leavehungry or disappointed. The fried Chicken is SO GOOD and CRISPY, the prime rib and steak are tender, And who doesn't love aDonut Wall with DIY toppings! Plus, after your all fat and happy, walk it off by looming at all the neat Dolly stuff inside thehotel and walk the grounds outside too to enjoy all the nature and flowers. Rich southern-fare, which isn't a surprise to any going to this buffet-style restaurant. Delicious food in quaint, trendy... atmosphere with beautiful views and many photo ops. The thing my kids loved BEST was walking around the propertyafterwards! Bottomless buffet options sure make for deliciousness, but also will make you bottom-full (????????) if you don'twatch the quantity!
