Oh my. Where shall I begin? This place was AMAZING!!!! The best Southern cooking I've ever had other than my mom and... grandmother's cooking! Everything was delicious. The fried chicken was out of this world! The grit bar was fantastic. Excellentdesserts. Excellent service. Incredible atmosphere. Do yourself a favor. Dine here! We went to the Sunday brunch and it totally impressed us. The price is well worth all the food. If you are a donut fan I?d... suggest getting reservations on the earlier side because they were almost all gone by 10:30 when we had our reservation. Ourfavorite foods were the crepe brûlée French toast, the broccoli casserole, and the fried chicken. Beautiful restaurant with attentive and kind waitstaff. Food was tasty, and there was lots of it. Come hungry, if not starving,... to make it worth the high price. Dinner buffet included a grits-bar (similar to an omelet bar, but with grits and associatedtoppings), prime rib, fish, fall-off-the-bone ribs, fried chicken, salad bar, and copious options for dessert. Great food and a huge, delicious selection. We weren't staying at the hotel but decided to try eating here and didn't regret... it! A huge selection of yummy southern comfort food, and even an expansive dessert selection (as you can tell from my sweettooth childs spread (picture)). Staff was friendly and courteous as well.
