First time to Pegion Forge and Paula Deen's. Family style is a little different experience that requires all the guests to pick... the meal together. I highly recommend spending a few more dollars and getting 3 or even 4 options for the main course. Ourchoices included chicken and dumplings, spare ribs, and pot roast. All of which were excellent. The location was great, theservice was good and the layout with the Paula Dean store on the floor below worked well. Parking would appear to be a problemas this area is likely always packed. Paula, great job on your restaurants, you have a new biggest fan! Read more

I looked forward to this visit. It did not disappoint. All the staff went above and beyond. The food was great. Started off with... a cheesy buttered biscuit. Then had the roast beef with rice and gravy. Sides were green beans, Mac and cheese, also collardgreens. For dessert an ooey gooey chocolate cake. Give them a try and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Read more

I have heard a ton about Paula Deen's food, so I was excited to eat here. Walking in, you are greeted with the 1st floor store.... It is a cute array of aprons, pot holders, cups, and Paula Deen spices. The store is very well maintained and organized. If yougo immediately to the right, a hostess will arrange a time for you to go up to the restaurant. We only had to wait 10 min on aweek night. Once upstairs, you are greeted with a beautiful view of the shopping center water show and Farris wheel throughhuge glass windows seen from every seat. The servers are quite nice and know the food options well if you have any problemsdeciding. This is an all you can eat food that is served fresh instead of from a buffet. You can choose 1, 2, 3, main dish(s)(price depending) and 4 sides. They will refill anything. However, since it is fresh food, it can take some time, so eating alot may prove difficult. You can box up dessert which comes with the meal but no leftovers from the main course. The food waswell cooked and I enjoyed some of the dishes, the biggest complaint is the amount of salt in all the food. It was hard to finishmay original meal due to the salt intake. Read more

Wasn't worth the hassle and wait. Go early and plan on walking as there's no close parking and the wait is often well over an... hour. Because everyone at the table pays the same even if they can't eat the food, you may have to pay so others in your partyhave more choices. You pick 2, 3 or 4 meats for the table even if each person only wants one or like me, I'm allergic to allexcept one. The price for each person is based on total meat options chose. You can ask for less than the meat allocated forthose not wanting it to avoid wasting food but they will throw out 3 pork chops on a table for 4 instead of only sending one tothe only one eating pork chops. The creamy potatoes and cream corn were not real flavorful. The Mac and cheese was a realdisappointment because my friend thought Paula Dean would have fabulous mac and cheese. The staff is wonderful though. We lovedour server. Ribs were delicious. Watching the fountain from our table was so enjoyable. Read more

We have been to this specific Paula Deen?s a few times before, but this was probably our best visit! The food was all delicious,... each of the meats we ordered were savory and filling, cooked perfectly. The sides were also delicious. My only complaint, (whichhas been present just about every visit to this location), would be that, despite the family style served food, and *unlimited*refills of food, the staff is always hesitant to refill. They did not act like they wanted to replenish what we had eaten, andwe felt a little uncomfortable asking for more. I understand not wanting to waste food, but I don?t feel that it isinconsiderate to ask for more pork chops for the table of 3 when we received 2. Overall, however, the food tasted amazing! -Early August 2022 Read more

We came for breakfast and the meal was amazing! When they brought out the family style dishes I thought we would need to order... more, nope. The black pepper bacon may be the best bacon I've ever had. It was slightly gooey, crispy on the outside, covered inblack pepper that was not too spicy, and topped off with a sweet coating. It's as if they combined every element that disparatepeople like about bacon and combined them all into one amazing slice! This is now on our list of best breakfast places in thecountry. Read more

Food was delicious. Didn?t know it was all you can eat which justified the pricing. The chicken is some the best I ever had. Our... waiter Francis was quick, responsive and just overall pleasant. He deserves 5 stars alone. We had the chicken , ribs , collardgreens, Mac n cheese, cream potatoes and broccoli casserole. I recommend them all especially the chicken. Read more
