A local tradition! If you grew up here and moved to Europe for 20 years, "Zestos" will be one of the things you miss and a... guaranteed stop when you finally visit. Zesto is a strange franchise. They provide ice cream and that's it. The menu items arecompletely up to each location. So, if you have a Zesto where you're from, it's not as good as this one. Try a "muddy river", a"ranger Rick" or any of the many other unique menu items. Moved away in 2007 and this was our first time back. Zesto's in Pierre continues to be the best ice cream establishment... anywhere! The food is wonderful and the young kids who work there are equally wonderful. If you come to Pierre and don't tryit out it is your loss. Read more
This place is the best! A revolving flavor schedule so there's always something new along with lots of staples and favorites... from Thier Taylor made shakes slushes and drinks. Great fried foods. The cheese curds are amazing. I love Supporting this localbusiness! You can even get pints, quarts , and half gallons to go! Read more
Incredible little art deco-ish ice cream place that also serves lunch. Service was fast and friendly, although we only ordered... ice cream. Several other customers had ordered lunch and the orders seemed to be served quickly. Reasonable prices, $4 for asmall dirty river, twist ice cream, how fudge and crushed Oreos. Next time we're in the area, we'll be back. Read more
This is a famous place for getting some really yummy flavored ice cream, from Sundaes to shakes and cones. We swung by almost... every night for my two week vacation here for a different flavored ice cream, after eating dinner. It is cash only, but it'sworth it. There are some tables and chairs outside in the back. This is an order from outside place only. There is handicapparking available. Read more

The ice cream sundaes and malts were delicious. They have the ice cream frozen enough so it's not running down your arm. There's... nothing like coming home to visit and no trip complete without a trip to the best ice cream store in Pierre. Read more
