Holy cow! Super friendly and accommodating. We had ordered a large pizza and they helped us out by giving us 2 mediums when they... ran out of large pizzas rather than bringing us through a hasle of trying to get money refunded or figuring something else out.Amazing work and extremely appreciated the gesture. I don't ever leave a review. But this needs it, worst experience ever. We went into Gators and waited behind two people standing... at the counter, one guy just standing there and one lady must have been picking up a gift certificate or something. A young boycame to the counter and helped the older man and then walked away, came back and some lady's that literally just walked in andstarted looking at the menu he helped them after having to see us standing there for a good 5 minutes... okay, so we ordered onesmall pizza came to $18 and some change, my boyfriend gave her a $20 and told her to keep the change then stuck a $5 in the tipjar, asked how long it would take, she said 15 minutes so we walked around the mall for probably 5 minutes before sitting at abooth.... 32 minutes went by before I decided to go ask about our pizza.... the young boy came back out saying "sorry, it wassitting on top of the oven"... so I took it to our table, in a box, and opened the box to luke warm at best.... went up andasked for our money back and not even an apology from the lady who was supposedly the owner, that I knew wasn't. No apology fromher and not even a refund for the full amount we paid, got $16 and some change back.... I don't recommend Gators what so ever.Customer service is the worst in town. Read more
The owner is a loudmouth that loves to spew his nonsense all over social media but the pizza is passable considering there... really are no other options. If there were competition in this town for pizza, I probably wouldn?t give this place a secondthought. There?s not, however. So it?s this, or a chain pizza place. I will say they?re expensive. Not justifiably so either.Personally, I?d rather make one at home. If you?re in town, don?t have the means to make your own, and you don?t want Pizza Hutor Dominos, then you?ll probably find this place acceptable. 3/5 by local standards. 2/5 otherwise. Read more
Gators Pizza is located inside the center of the mall in Pierre. They have a large variety of food to choose from and are full... of flavor. Even during peak times of service; food output was incredibly fast without sacrifice of quality. To see the ownerinteracting with customers is a pleasant twist to see in this day and age; I wish I saw this more often in other restaurants. The area is filled with a good positive and energetic energy and I can see that the employees enjoy what they do here. Locationis very clean and table clean up during peak times is also fast. They have SD video lottery in the back and they also sell beerhere. Prices are pretty fair for the quality of the food you get; for a large 3 topping pizza, 2 monsters, and breadsticks costaround $30. If you are in Pierre and want some good pizza, salads, and soups; check this place out. Read more
Staff is very friendly. We had the pepperoni and Canadian bacon pizza, large. Pizza is ok, I've had the same flavor/taste as the... C store over in Onida. Pizza did come out extremely fast, so that was good. Read more
