I've only eaten at one other Greek style place since moving here and wanted to try a new place, but found myself disappointed.... Had higher hopes since the couple restaurants around them are very good. If you decide to eat here, just get the regular sizegyro, the larger gyros seem to just have extra Lettuce rather than meat. The spanikopita was definitely dry with taste as if itwere baked and refrigerated 2 or 3 times -- had a couple bites and had to throw out. Unfortunate because I love spanikopita;save your money. The Greek fries though plentiful in toppings, fries themselves had an old taste and texture like they had beenfried couple hours prior to us ordering. The restaurant was not busy, maybe had 2 people at tables and 4-5 take out orders inthe 20-30min we waited. Atmosphere I gave 4 stars because I love the decorations and wall paintings, looked like a fairly cleanrestaurant. Read more
FALLEN OFF the TRAIN- (And they don't care-) Does not respond to any messages.. Bought a $18 Falafel salad ( way over-priced)... because it was suppose to be vegetarian... The salad was laced with gyro meat all through it - Not cool. Send 3-4 messages andno response back. I ordered Falafel pita sandwich and gteek fries...it's really good food, ya falafel patti lettlebit simple but white sauce and... hummus are very good combo with that...i said try one more time...Good service, Good food and Good price. Read more
What was ordered -vs- what I got ???? There’s enough rice for a family of 4, the veggies are COMPLETELY dead, the filet was... unevenly cooked so my rare/med rare was more med well. It did have a good flavor though. The rice has a little too muchcloves. Stick with the Falafel’s, but get the tzatziki sauce (even though they’ll ask you a million times if you’re sureor “explain” what it is ????) Read more
Ordered veggie delight. Horrible, they put very little feta cheese on top and not the bottom and there's sauce all over the... foil, and not on the sandwich. Paid regular gyro price for this and its all lettuce. My mistake driving 20 mins to come here. Read more
First time to Greek Star !!! I can’t believe I have missed this spot.. I had the lunch special gyro and the chicken shawarma... and feta fries and baklava. Cooked to perfection what was supposed to be hot was and served in less then 10 min. Amazing happyhour drink specials starting at 3$ on a Tuesday .. and the service exceeds exceptional.. Fady was knowledgeable and guided methrough the menu as I explained to him what I was thinking for a meal. He made the entire experience welcoming and fun! He waspatient and enthusiastic in serving.. I could write so much more but I am beyond full of amazing food so to relax now. See yasoon Greek Star! 6/11/2021 Peter is the most artistic bartender and perfect host. The owners are so nice. Family owned and food is delicious. Mixed drink specials are amazing. $4 for mixed drinks on Friday. ... Definitely will be back. Did I mention the food was delicious? Read more
