Sincerely disappointed about the decline of this family favourite Japanese restaurant. The All You Can Eat Sushi option is... incredibly slow. The wait staff seems largely disinterested in any type of friendly customer service. The decor is now a supershabby industrial feel with no appeal. The iPad to order your all-you-can-eat sushi seems to be rigged by time to make sure youdon't order too much. It times out then 15 min after your order, you get a message indicating the order has finally gone though.After waiting more than 40 min the first order shows up but a lot of what you ordered is missing. If you try to order more food,the iPad is non-responsive. The wait time between orders is excruciating. If you order off the menu, only some of your ordershows up..for example at our visit, we had to remind the wait staff that our meal came with miso soup and salad. The only savinggrace is that the food, thankfully, is still good. Unfortunately, the overall experience, order meal delivery disorganizationand lack of customer service means we will not be back. we placed our order and they slowly started bringing out the food but then stopped so we asked if the rest of our order was... coming and told us to eat what we had.. AYCE lunch @$27.00,senior$25.00,high quality salmon ,red snapper fish Sashimi , many varieties of Terriyaki salmon, beef short... ribs n tender steak cubes...etc. Very friendly servers n food comes fast after self-order on restaurant iPad. Been to this location twice and I think im done. Really stingy with the items, fill up on rice type deal. But so far its the... only place that serves salmon sashimi for lunch, which is super cool. But its thick squares... Pictures are the " rainbow roll" and tuna maki roll. You can tell this place has adapted to the palate of pickering. This is the best sushi you will get inpickering though.
