Went for dinner yesterday with the hubby and got the Stuffed Cajun Chicken Breast and Jalapeño Peppers. The Jalapeño peppers... were not good at all? as you can tell from the photo, the outer layer was dried and weird.. not the way fried food should looklike. :/ As for the Stuffed Cajun Chicken Breast, it was just okay? not really flavourful.. just very mild and barely had anyfilling of the spinach and feta. Most of the chicken was without the filling so I was eating mostly just plain chickenbreast. We were driving from Toronto to Ottawa and and e a detour in Pickering to have some Halal steaks. The restaurant itself... definitely needs a facelift.. dim and dark and hasn?t been taken care of.. the server was nice but bored maybe! Tables andchairs not nicely ordered .. really need to be taken care of the place. Food came looking not so good, plating could definitelyimprove! But when we tasted it everything was fantastic! We are regular visitors of this location. The service is hit and miss, sometimes we get the food quickly but other times it can... take a very long time. The food is good, we got the Chicken Parmesan primavera, the herb penne, the kids cheesy pasta and forappetizers we got the jalapeño poppers and the lemon fish and chips. The food was hot and the service was good. The waiterregularly checked to see if we needed anything. This time we went at lunchtime when it wasn?t so busy. Read more
We went to Aaffys along with Aidan my grandson, he likes the place and food, so do we . Most of the time I order fish fillet... with shrimp on it, the ribs are also good for the meat lover but steak is a question mark, those in my family who order steakhas concerns !! I had the 1/2 lbs beef burger, and it was well worth it! Affys is a affordable, high quality restaurant I would recommend to... take out friends, coworkers and family. It's a nice sit down vibe with incredible food options. Love the halal steak options andauthentically western cuisine. One improvement can be made to the service time, however It let's me know that my food is beingprepared fresh. Keep up the great work and customer service ! Read more

Food was delicious. Service was good and fast. I wish it was cleaner though. Washroom was clogged, had to take my daughter to... the men's washroom. I wish they could focus on hygiene as well. Place is usually full on Saturday, I would recommend callingahead or book a reservation. Thanks Read more
Visited this place after many years . Took over 45 minutes for food to come. Including appetizers. The food came.before the... appetizers lol. We ordered kids meal steak and fries - it came with LITERALLY 5 -7 pieces of fries. The nachos was a waste..tasted like the PC salsa . We ordered more fries but it took over 30 minutes and the fries was still not on our table. Weordered sirloin with mash and veg - there was hair in it. We also ordered a sandwich and there was hair in the mash. FOOD - NOTWORTH IT . SERVICE - A 0 . SUPER SLOW . we didn't even get cutlery with our plates. The washrooms were disgusting. Thedidn't take the food with hair off our bill even though we told and showed our waitress. When we went up to pay thays when shetook it off after REMINDING her again. Don't waste your money here.
