Haven't been to one of these since I was little, and it didn't disappoint. Great comfort food not mater the time of day/night.
This is the first time I've had a bad experience at a waffle house. We came in at 2:00 a.m. to get some breakfast. The grits had... obviously been sitting for a very long time, as our portions had big chunks of congealed grits that had obviously been scrapedfrom the bottom of the pot. My over easy eggs that apparently were cooked first and put on the plate and then they cookedeverything else. By the time it got to the table the eggs were cold. My waffle was just barely cooked, was not crispy and was onthe soggy side. The sausage was very overcooked. We have eaten at this waffle House previously and everything was great, butthat was at a more normal time around 10:00 a.m. this won't stop us from coming back here again in the future, but it will be atmore normal hours when the food is fresher.
