After a nice walk on the Schuylkill River Trail, my son and I had lunch at Fitzwater Station. We sat outside where we had a... wonderful view of the canal. We saw turtles, geese, ducks, and fish. Second time here. Same nice service. You get to watch people canoeing, ride bikes, and waking trail. you can feed the turtles... and fish. They even had free food to feed the fish and turtles. Canoes are for rent along with tubing. Great food. Fair prices. I recommend. Read more
It?s the best place in town to rent kayaks and canoes. One employee getting my canoe was not very nice as I tried to make... conversation with him several times and he just ignored me. Other than that, food is great and food employees are ok. I wouldgive it a 3.5 if I could. Read more

My boyfriend and I recently ordered two take out Caesar salads with grilled shrimp from a local Long Island favorite restaurant... we frequent and we were so disappointed with them. I was visiting family here in PA and we stopped in at Fitzwater Station. Myson in law said he heard the sandwiches were really good but not wanting bread I told my sad Caesar salad story and tried again.My salad was amazing!! Sometimes I give 5 stars before even sampling the food or drink. I did it here because they were wonderful from the moment I... arrived. I didn?t make it past the delicious smell of bbq that intoxicated. The staff was so friendly and helpful. And theprices? great deals. Made me shake my head at what bbq places in Philly charge. And then I tasted. Worth it! The gentleman whocreated the Trail Cup is a genius along the lines of Steve Jobs - the savory, sexier cousin of the yogurt parfait with layers ofmashed potatoes, mac n cheese, and brisket.
