My new favorite sushi place! Stepped in for happy hour and only 2 other tables were seated. Got a high top table to myself and... ordered some gyoza to start. Got three different sushi rolls and my bill was around $30. Which I count as an absolute win! Myserver was so incredibly nice and didn?t mind at all that I was by myself. Read more

My friends and I tried a variety of items from the menu. Everything was delicious, I especially liked my selections; squid... salad, dynamite roll and upside down cake for dessert! I will definitely be back to try the other menu items! Read more

This is the place for an incredible happy hour (2-6pm every day)! I have been here a few times and have loved the food, service,... and ambiance every time. Their spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and spicy crab are so great, especially when they are $4/roll duringHH. Some of their specialty rolls are $7/roll during HH. You can?t beat the quality and price during this time. I highlyrecommend their happy hour for a late lunch or early dinner! I?ll definitely be back! Read more

The food is absolutely amazing. It is high quality, fresh, and full of gentle flavor. The location is nice with tasteful... decorations but there is almost no parking. This location is understaffed so service takes a long time (10 mins for a requestedwater refill). Note that seating is limited so you may want to call ahead about a reservation. If you have time to sit and talk, you may have to be a little louder than usual, but this would be the perfect place. It is refined, suitable for a little morethan casual to light formal. Read more

I?m not a Sushi fan, but was invited by friends who are?they liked it ok, some of it seemed quite chewy and that person didn?t... enjoy! I got the Japanese Curry Seafood Udon (mussels were very chewy and tough?idk, never had mussels that were like that????)! Shrimp was quite good. Too much noodle for me though?oh well. It?s a very small place, not great ambience or comfortable, but there?s a patio that has more seating. Bathrooms are unisex. Parking is very tough and very tight to get in/out of theparking lot off Central! Give it a try, you might like it. Read more

Great sushi. Some places make my stomach feel a little off, but not this one. I love that they?re open on Sunday!!! Every... other sushi place around us is closed on Sunday. I highly suggest this place. Would given 5 stars?. I do wish they had moreparking and more spicy tuna roll options, but they always accommodate us with customizing how we want the rolls. The windows, soy sauce bottles, handles, bathrooms, and menus especially, are always incredibly dirty. Read more

Writing this review because of how amazing the salmon skin roll was! I?m always on the hunt for a good crispy salmon roll and... Yama definitely surpassed my expectations. There?s a lunch special from 11-2pm which involves a roll and 5 pieces of nigiri for$12, and then every day from 2-6 there?s a happy hour menu. I came at 1:45 and got the best of both worlds. Probably worth 5stars by most people?s standards, and they are definitely there. However I?ve had a really mean server the first time I came(today my server was lovely) and the parking is extremely difficult due to limited spaces ? hence my 4 stars. Will probably beback to rate 5 stars and also try more of their specialty rolls because they all look super aesthetically pleasing. Seems likea great date spot, love the open patio. Read more

Everything I had was so very good! Honestly can't wait to go back and try more. I did mostly sushi but the green mussels are a... MUST. The Green River Roll is fantastic and probably my favorite from this visit. I got the seafood noodles and I was much toomuch curry for me but if you enjoy the curry flavors than you'll truly enjoy it. The sake sangria is such a treat definitelyget it. **Parking is a little tricky. If they are full then you have to park on a side street or parking lot down the road Read more
