Reviews for Vovomeena in Phoenix, AZ
Great breakfast! I had the biscuits and gravy. Portion size was good and very good flavor. I liked the touch of fresh herbs... sprinkled on top. It definitely had a "made at home" flavor to it. Coffee was excellent as well. Would definitely recommend ifyou're looking for a brunch type place outside of chain restaurants. Cheers! Read more
First time trying this place, food came out quick. Water is self-serve. Sandwich was good, but the potatoes were horrible and... soggy. My scramble wasn't too great. Underseasoned and the raw onion was unpleasant. Read more
I can't believe I haven't been here before. Excellent breakfast food, top tier coffee, charming staff, extremely fast service,... and an inviting atmosphere. The rosemary in the sausage gravy alone will bring me back here but I might have a hard timeordering again it because I want to taste everything else on the menu too. Banana bread pudding French toast? That's like threebreakfasts in one! Read more
This place is DIVINE. Hands down my favorite breakfast spot. Their specials are always worth trying, as are their staples. The... moonshine cold brew is also excellent. Read more
Decided to try this place out since I'm always looking for new and different places to get breakfast/brunch. Staff was friendly,... you order then sit and they bring the food to you. Food was served fairly quickly, hot, delicious, although a couple items wereforgot they quickly rectified it. Would definitely go back even though I live in Mesa and this is in Central Phoenix. So manyoptions left to try. Read more
The service was superb, the food was delicious, my first time dining here, I will come back from California.
Fun, unique, little hard to find breakfast spot. Eclectic menu that will require several visits to explore. Johnny Cakes... w/chillies, prickly pear syrup, and cinnamon apple sweet rice was my first choice while the wife enjoyed the biscuits and gravywith perfectly cooked eggs. We'll definitely be back. Here in Phoenix visiting for a music festival from Seattle. Since the Seattle food scene is awesome we had high expectations.... This place did not disappoint. We went here twice over the weekend for their menu that is a delicious and creative example ofsouthwestern breakfast cuisine. Day 1 we got the tortilla espanola and the Mexican Benedict. Along with a chai and an earl grey. That day probably would?ve been 4/5 stars; staff was friendly and super efficient, earl grey was awesome, but the chai waspretty milky for our taste and the food was somewhat under seasoned. The hollandaise was kind of overpowered by the chorizo.Sunday, day 2 was 5/5 stars. Friendly and fast service even though there was a line to the door half the time we were there.Great cold brew coffee and a large selection of milks to put in. Got a great breakfast, coffee and a pastry to go for under $30(unheard of in Seattle honestly). Today we got the Wilcox avenue where they subbed meat for fruit for my vegetarian companionand I got the banging pocket which was indeed banging. The food was a little less under seasoned than yesterday but still neededsome salt on the potatoes but they were much crispier and had more flavor than the day before. Loved this place I?m so glad wevisited! Read more
