My daughter and I went to afternoon tea here on a Saturday. We weren't sure what to expect- we've been going to tea for years,... usually at big hotels and resorts. This place was informal compared to our usual haunts, but that only made it seem that muchmore homey and welcoming. We were expecting a good experience based on the reviews we'd read, but we weren't expecting to beimpressed to the extent that we were. The tea was outstanding- we had the Chinese Rose and the Buckingham, and couldn't decidewhich we liked better. The ambience was relaxed, the music was enjoyable. And the food was a show stopper- four differentvarieties of delicious finger sandwiches(we ordered two more rounds), two dense and tasty scones each of two differentvarieties, and the variety of desserts was mind-boggling. Each item was as esthetically pleasing as it was great tasting. Weplan on going back, as we both found a new favourite, and also look forward to trying their regular menu as well. Even thedrinking water was good. Five enthusiastic stars! Read more

Fantastic food and drinks! I don't know if you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly recommend going with a group and... getting a bunch of plates to share among you all. The chicken and waffles are outstanding! The juiciest chicken inside thecrunchiest batter. And you need to finish with the bread pudding. Delicious, not too sweet nor heavy. Read more

Spent 40$ on a plate of lamb chops that were made of mostly fat. Everything else on the plate was damn near impossible to eat.... It was very unappetizing. Beverage had funny after taste and was watered down. If you want to charge so much for a plate, mightas well put a little bit of effort into the taste instead of the presentation. Very beautiful, but disgusting meal. The thingsthat weren?t gross were flavorless. Very overrated spot. I don?t know how some people enjoy it. Read more

Cute little trendy spot. Has feel of old house inside a neighborhood. Food and service were great. Menu is a few southern dishes... mixed with new American. Interesting cocktails. Overall a good place to check out with friends or a date. Read more
