I was really excited to try this place out. I would love to give it five stars, but I just can't. I was impressed with the... variety of Ice cream flavors and the ice cream in general was really good. The milkshake creations are fun. I ordered theAugust special triple chocolate shake. The milkshake looked awesome. However I can't say much for the shake. It was morelike chocolate milk, shake was very runny. My friend also ordered a shake hers was also very runny. For a place that issupposed to specialize in trendy fun shakes, they need to work on the initial base product of knowing how to make a good thickshake. Other then that the place is clean and employees were friendly. They do allow sample tastes of the ice cream and theydo validate for the parking garage. This is a fun place right in downtown Phoenix. The experience is a fun one and I recommend going with a group. I ordered the... strawberry cream cheesecake shake. The ice-cream was really good and the actual piece of cheese cake was OK. Maybe I am so usedto my wife's homemade cheesecake but you could tell that The Yard is buying theirs and storing them. Visited the Yard Milkshake Bar last weekend with a friend. I ended up getting the peanut butter finger waffle milkshake because... peanut butter is one of my favorites. Very very good experience! I would suggest greeting 1 milkshake for 2! Huge but delicious. We had the salted caramel cheesecake... and it is so delicious. Parking is available underground available for 2 hours, just follow the arrow that says ?visitorparking? and don?t forget to stamp it/validate it before you leave the shop. Read more
