I have never been to the diner itself but am a cancer patient currently receiving chemotherapy. It's a scary time as I am a... single mom trying to work (at home), take care of my disabled daughter and take care of myself while trying to find the energyto make it through each day and make meals and being immune-compromised, it's hard to get out. Eating is a struggle when chemoside effects are its peak. A friend of mine recommended signing up for the Joy Bus Diner's home delivery meal service and Idid. I received my first meal last week + one caregiver meal. It was absolutely delicious and my daughter was over the moonwith her meal, too. Super high quality, fresh, and tasty. Today was meal #2- a grilled pork chop, eggplant polenta, side salad, fresh watermelon and cookies and OMG- each bite was heaven. Each volunteer delivery driver is so nice! Thank you volunteers foryour time, energy and resources! Thank you so much, Joy Bus Diner. You're so greatly appreciated. I can't wait until chemo isover and I can come into the diner itself and also maybe I can sign up as a volunteer to deliver meals! Read more

The staff was so friendly and fast. The wait to be seated and to get you food wasn't long. The waffles were good. Chilaquiles... were alright. The flavor was kinda matte tasting, if they added a little bit of chicken bouillon to the sauce it would havefixed it. For some reason it didn't come with the crema as other photos have shown.. could have used it. Overall a good place tovist. Read more
