I went in to order a tuna wrap, the lettuce was brown, the tomatoes were soggy, cucumbers ok. The girl was ok who made it, just... doing a job, then a guy appeared to ring me up and said $10.85, I took my card out to tap on the pay machine I held it there fora few seconds and then took it away, the guy turned around and walked away and then the girl appeared and said oh try it againit didn't go through, so I did and then I looked down when I took it away and it said $13.02! I said wait a minute it justcharged me 1302 she said no it didn't it charge you 1085 she took the receipt and stuffed it into the bag with my wrap andhanded it to me and I left I went to go eat my wrap and I pulled out to the receipt to find out that I was charged a $2.17 tipwhich I did not authorize so I decided to go back a different lady was there now and I asked her to look at my receipt and I wascharged a tip she wouldn't even look at it and she said you authorized it I said no I did not it was supposed to be 1085 shegoes well we don't have anything to do with the machines you touch the button you pushed it I said no I did not I did notauthorize a tip she goes well yes you did I said no I did not and she goes well sorry we're not in charge of those things andjust blankly sat there and stared at me and I said well this is wrong!! and I turned around and walked out. I feel as though asI was scammed and at least the lady could have at least been sympathetic at all or said I am so sorry, nothing! I would like tocall the owner on this one and speak with him directly to see what kind of business he is running because if he is running abusiness like this it! is called theft and your food sucks Read more

I have been coming to this Subway for five years. The sandwichers know me! Today I try to use a coupon for $3.99 for a 6" tuna.... Same order twice a week with Doritos. They KNOW my order. Today, they don't honor my coupon! Where is Shay, the old manager? Bring her back and let me know when you do. B/c until then I will never step foot inside that Subway again! Read more

We ordered 2 sandwiches from the online ordering service for pickup. The food was excellent and correctly madea s usual.... However, we were charged twice and two orderes, which were exactly the same, were generated. The employee at the time of pick upstated that she couldn't refund our money and to contact corporate. After contacting corporate, they state they can not help aseach store is owned individually but they had forwared our message onto the manager who would contact us in 48 hours. That wasone week ago. Have tried to call multiple times but lines is always busy. Went to the store once and left a message for themanager but no one ever called me back. Now I am disputing the charge through my back which is sucha hassle. I will NOT beordering from them again with this system and I suggest you do not either. Local businesses need our money more anyway and wouldhave easily handled such as issue. Read more

As soon as I walked in the door I realized why this place has a 3.4 rating. The girl at the front counter was rude and had a bad... attitude with the customers ahead of me. Then when she was done with them and addressed me she acted like she didn?t want todeal with anyone. Before I told her what I wanted, she didn?t even say a word to me. She just stared at me like I had 3 heads. Ifelt uncomfortable there. I walked the hell out of that place and didn?t buy Anything. I already knew this wasn?t going to gowell. I do not have a voice do to thyroid cancer and the lady that was taking my order said that my voice was annoying. What kind of... customer service is that? When I called the owner to tell him about it, he said he was very sorry and there was nothing he coulddo but apologize. Anyone who's had cancer would know how I feel. Read more

UPDATE: The owner actually phoned me to discuss the issue I had with one of the employees last night. He said that he is going... to review the tapes from the store and take proper action. He also said he will make sure that people with long hair wear aponytail holder to keep their hair back. I had posted my complaint in Subway's customer service section, so we discussed theproblem at length. Here's what had occurred: On Wednesday night, 2/13, my son and I walked into the store and had to call outfor service. When the employees finally walked up front, I told the young girl what we wanted. With a negative look, she flungher hair around (it wasn't in a ponytail though it was supposed to be) and it landed all over the bread. I asked her politelyto put her hair back and she stalked off. The guy that took her place, who TOLD ME HIS NAME WAS JOHN (I now know that nobodynamed John works there), told me that he refused to serve me because I sounded mean when I told her to put back her hair. Itwas about 15 minutes before closing time, and they obviously wanted to get out of there quickly. I'll update if anything futureoccurs. Read more

If you are not a fan of various kinds of animals being brought into an eatery such as a parrot(I'm not lying or exaggerating),... then don't patronize Subway. When I reported this as a customer concern, I received the following replay followed by my followup response. Mr. McCarthy ? I wanted to apologize for the customer who brought a parrot into our store. I agree that petsshould not be allowed in restaurants however under Arizona law we are not allowed to question the validity of a person?s serviceanimal. If a customer tells us their animal is a service animal, we must allow them to bring it into the store. I apologizethat my employee thought it was cool?they were wrong, however it is a very difficult situation that even with training, manyquick-service employees are not comfortable handling, as it can turn confrontational very quickly, and result in legalaction. I will once again speak with my staff about service animals and the rights and laws protecting both the restaurant aswell as the individuals with those needs. If you can let me know which employee, even a brief description, I will specificallyspeak to them about it as well. Thank you Philip Cohen Mr. Cohen, The restaurant employee did not bother to question thepatron about whether or not the parrot was a service animal and I doubt that a parrot would qualify as such, although in thisday and age, nothing would surprise me. So on that basis, I will spread the word that Subway allows such animals in theirrestaurants based on the assumption that they are allowed under Arizona law, whatever misconceived kind of law that wouldbe. Personally, I would have told the patron to leave and return without the parrot. It?s as simple as that. He gets served, and other patrons are not bothered or offended.
