Saw this place and just had to check it out! The pizza was amazing and the service was fantastic! The staff really know their... regulars and even greet them by name! This place came to my attention from a published list of "Highest-Rated Cheap Eats in Phoenix" and had to go check it out. Had... it not been on that list, I would have never found it. It's a tiny spot tucked in a small plaza on Northern which makes itdifficult to see if you weren't looking for it. It is, as they claim, a typical neighborhood pizza joint. A handful of tablesand a selection of full pizzas, slice combos, sandwiches, and other items. We ordered some slices and an Italian sub. The sliceswere very large with lots of sausage and pretty typical of a NY style pie. They were reheated a bit too dark and crispy, butwe're still very good. The sub was also like you would find in NY/NJ and was very good. We were there at lunch time and it waslively with a good vibe. No table service and nothing too fancy. The staff was busy and very pleasant. We may stop back in toorder a fresh whole pizza. Pretty sure it will be excellent. Perfect lunch spot if you're in the hood. And yes, cheap too! Read more

This place is devil's work! It's delicious, pizza was mouth watering good, had a half Italian sandwich and I do not know if one... was better than the other. I could easily do lunch AND dinner here. Hole in the wall joint. Not a lot of seating & often enough the parking spots are limited. At least when I've gone during... lunchtime. Little pricey but the atmosphere & pizza is good. Medium drink with two slices & two toppings will cost you $10.50.Bathroom is in the back. Read more
In business since '99 and for good reason, excellent customer service, clean restaurant and delicious pizza with the gooey... mozzarella and a zesty robust sauce. The crust has a crispy edges and chewy inside. I'll definitely be back to try thesandwiches. Support your local family owned pizza parlor! Read more
It was our first time to visit Stumpy's. The moment we walked in we were greeted! Everyone was very nice and they recommended... some of their most popular items to help us decide. The pizza was delicious and loaded with toppings! The crust is the perfectthickness too. I recommend the meatballs which is an order of 4 handmade meatballs covered in sauce and cheese. I have to say it's the best pizza I've ever had and I am a Pizza connoisseur. I go to a different pizza place to try pizza every... other week this is a mad awesome pizza place. The crust is like to die for, you don't have to know through this one it's justthe right texture just light and crispy with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. By the way you can taste the freshnessin the sauce, it's notable for sure I mean there's not a time that I've gone there since not been good and they're so friendly!If you're a pizza lover and you want a great experience order and meat lovers it's got a lot of meat guys!
