This morning (September 20, 2022) I waited 14 minutes for a venti coffee before I got up and had my order refunded. This has... happened several times before at this location. I only visit this Starbucks location because it's at the foot of a mountain.Beautiful view. But, it is nearly a perfect model of total imcompetence. Three girls behind the counter and one doing all the work while the other two stand around doing nothing but chatting. It?s... important to have fun at work, but it is not a teamwork environment to have one person make all the drinks while you stand thereand talk loudly and do nothing else. Tess, you?re amazing. The masks they wear don't work and make them look like muzzled dogs. Inexplicably took away all seating because of a mild cold,... yet do not require patrons to wear masks that also don't work. If you're scared of the sniffles, stay home or uber your food toyourself because I can't imagine I'm the only one over the charade. Food itself is good but the atmosphere is a bit too 1984 formy taste. Read more
I stopped here with a six year old who desperately needed a bathroom, I walk up to the door and see a sign that said they were... closed on Wednesday and would open on Thursday (today is Thursday). The two people inside ignored us initially and when theyfinally did acknowledge us I asked if we could just use the bathroom and they turned us down, which was totally fine. I'veworked in the food service industry for several years and I get it, closed is closed, even if the sign they posted wasincorrect. I just wish they hadn't been so rude about it, especially with an upset kiddo with me. Read more
I love this starbucks in particular. I mean all the starbucks staff are friendly but this location has the best staff over the... past 2-3 years I have been in! they are always friendly, kind, accommodating, and greet you with the biggest smile. I wish theparkinglot was a little bigger but most of the time I visit, I don?t have an issue finding a spot nearby. Definitely my all timefavorite starbucks! Great store, great staff. One of the few stores in Phoenix that is safe enough that they don't have to lock the restrooms or... put red sharp object disposable boxes for hypodermic needles in the restrooms. They also don't wait until sunrise to open thelobby and close at sunset due to crime. Read more
